I hope others besides Phi agree with me EOTO is terrible. They are credited beyond their musical capabilities. Everything sounds shiztty & it's nothing you can "groove" to. It's about as cool as dating your grandma's chess partner.

Haha! Well, to each their own. I wasn't a huge fan at first, but when I caught them live I really enjoyed myself. (To be fair, I can be a pretty big fan of anything when I'm all full up with corn!) Who would you say does what they do better?

Big Gigantic, Beats Antique, Eliot Lipp; hell, Skrillex is better EOTO.

I like all of the above too. And yes, I think they all put on a better show than EOTO. Would love a Beats Antique repeat! And Big Gigantic shows are essentially church to me! Special times....

Friday Night Jack White Solo --> Queens of the Stone Age Saturday Night Zero 7 --> Thievery Corporation pretty please the rest of the late night sets can be skrillex for all i care. there's no way Zero 7 plays, but one can dream.
QOTSA would be raucous at night - 1 am slot after a Saturday Headliner like NIN in '09 seems more realistic? Radiohead -> QOTSA, priceless.
I don't think QOTSA would play before the sun went down. I'm not sure if they're big enough to play in NIN's spot, but that may just be wishful thinking. a late night tent is what i'm hoping for.
I think Queens of the Stone Age make it to atleast the Which Stage, no matter what time they end up on. I mean I could completely live with a Friday pre-HL show on the What but I'm going to wait until I see some names before I get too crazy. They are kinda high octane to lead into another big band/group.

QOTSA would work really well on Which in between main stage RHCP/PHISH slots IMO. So not a true "late night" set but still at night. Kind of like Primus last year.
The Word, Umphrey's, Random EDM Act with Lights and Bass Drops, Mac Miller (to take all the idiot 12 year olds away from a band I want to see), Wu-Tang.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
