Just posted on there trying to organize a carpool from Connecticut, or anywhere near that area.
This is a random question, but can anyone tell me how it works when you arrive with your car? Do people camp with their cars, or do they make you park and then walk to a separate campsite that's far away from your car? I've seen pictures of both situations, so I don't know how it works exactly. Do we get to choose if we camp with or without our car, or is it the kind of thing where they just throw you wherever you fit? Thanks!
Most people in General Admission camp next to their car. You park your car in a row door-to door and the space in front of you is your camp site. You'll meet some crazy and great neighbors as well! There is a tent-only option but unless you really know what you're doing it's better to stick next to your car.

Yeah it's good to know these things before you go. Our first Bonnaroo we ended up camping really far even though we only had a tent and could have been in the tent-only area. However maybe it ended up being a good thing having to walk through the madness each time!

I figured I would give this a shot and post it here, but me and a friend need a ride from Arkansas...we are volunteering and need to be in Manchester on Sunday to check in...here's my facebook so you can creep me and see that I'm not some random weirdo that you wouldn't want to give a ride to: www.facebook.com/erich.washausen
Hey everyone. Well, I know its still early, but I just got my ticket today and I need a ride down and back from roo. I live in the Northern Virginia area, and im 27 years old. I also have a pretty decent proposition. I was planning on heading down the day before to get a hotel, so if I pay for the hotel ( one room) id just need the ride. This is gonna be my first Roo and ill be attending firefly afterwards.
I sadly can't help you out, but I wish you luck! That is a pretty generous proposition with the hotel thing.
