Not really related to the announcements but why not throw the day the volunteer application went live for people wondering about that. It was March 26th last year.
So I am not sure if this is a dumb question but is there a set time when Bonnaroo is held each year? When I say this I mean is it always held the second weekend of June, the second Thurs of June, at a date which is pulled out of a hat by the folks putting on Roo? I ask because I am already looking at next year and if my work schedule will allow me to go. I hope this makes sense.

looks like it's been the 2nd weekend in june every year except 2002, 2006 and 2007.
Ugh next year the first is a fri I think so the second weekend would fall during blackout dates for my work schedule. Looks like I have until next year to find a different job and will let me take off during that time ha ha

Eagerly waiting for the lineup update! I think in the past, there was more info out @ this point. These lonely months between February & June are hard.It's like waiting for xmas as a child! I am hoping for some good spring shows to tide me over.
Sooooo, it's been a month and 5 days since announcing the lineup. Where are the additions??? At least where's the announcement of when they'll announce the addtions?

Please give us some sort of update. All of Inforoo is eagerly awaiting some sort of anouncement. It is like telling a six year old kid he cannot open gifts until after dinner on x-mas day. Please let us open at least one gift soon. When I say soon I mean now please.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
I hope they come out soon...On that note, remember when people said Bonnaroo would be sold out by the end of Feb.?
Yeah I am sure there are lot's of people who are in limbo like me. I mean, I lost both my jobs last year, right after bonnaroo. I have been doing lots of shows lately, which is good but I still have lot's of catching up to do to get my saving in any kind of shape to go buying Bonnaroo tickets. The catching up plus the gas prices has me worried, so I am totally in limbo as far as me gong this year.
So I think they're literally gonna hold out until the last Wednesday of March this year before revealing additions. Nicely played Bonnaroo, nicely played.
I got bored and did some maffs, so here's some pointless information.
Tickets went on sale 11 days later this year than last year (110 days before festival.)
It's currently 73 days until Roo, by this time last year additions, comedy acts and theme tents were announced.
We're more than 3 weeks further out this year than last year as far as announcements.
Which probably means they're having scheduling difficulties with an addition, which hopefully works out and we get someone awesome.
Last year the schedule came out 3 weeks before the fest and tickets shipped 2 weeks before the fest.

or we DONT get any more major adds. I'm overall pretty happy...I think that I can fill up my 4 days with plenty of goodies and build in some needed chill time. I have yet to see any comedy at Roo...am always too busy with music and other sensory overloads. I would like to know what kinds of cafe acts to expect though.
