headliners start at 9... at least that is the way it has been going.
That is what I would think, but some people are posting mock schedules on here that scared me with Arcade Fire playing until 1am. As long as Arcade Fire is over before The Black Angels start I will be happy.

I feel like Jim James might have been off a little on the time... most bands still dont even know when/where they're playing. I think MMJ from 7-9 and AF from 10-12 makes the most sense out of anything. Mostly because theres no reason for AF to be in a non-traditional headliner spot like Phish got in 2009, and also because last year when Jay-Z played the main stage from 11-1 he was considered a late night, and AF is not on the late night list. I think that alone says their set will end at or before midnight

My friend saw them at the Southgate House this past Sunday and ended up meeting the band afterwards. He asked about Bonnaroo and the guitarist said that they have a "surprise" for their Bonnaroo set. He didn't go into any further details about it.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I hadn't heard of them til the lineup came out, and didn't even listen to them til they were announced as a LN act. A couple days ago I realized they're playing in Milwaukee tonight so I'm going on kind of a whim. Not too overly familiar with all their material since it's only been a couple weeks but I'm excited, I've heard good things about their live show.
(off topic) Astros are taking the Brewers down tonight
Solid stuff. It was relatively short (maybe like 70ish minutes?) but I still really enjoyed it. Kind of hard to hear the vocalist at times but that was possibly intentional with the heavily distorted guitars and all. Unless they're up against Big Boi I'll make an effort to catch at least some of their set.
Judging from the date of your post I'm guessing you were referring to the Nelson Figueroa start? After watching him pitch on the Brewers 56 win team in 2002 I can only say I'm sorry that he's on your team. Though I seem to remember him being halfway decent last year for some reason.

Been a fan for a while. Can't wait for this set. Even better to have it late night. I, too, have already seen Big Boi and thought it was great and I am not a Bassnectar fan, so this choice isn't too tough for me. Weezy afterwards! (then the end of Ratatat)

First off this site and all you lovely people have provided a plethora of great information for my first Roo! That being said, I saw The Black Angels last night here in Phoenix, absolutely amazing show!! I figured some of you wouldn't mind hearing the information I received. I was talking to Alex and Christian after the show, and I mentioned how I was going to Roo this year, and wondered what they had in store. They said that they're going to fly down there friend Rishi Dhir to play sitar with them. How awesome is that going to be! I believe Rishi is in a band called Elephant Stone, might have to go check them out now. By the way they were all really excellent people, my utmost respect goes out to them! You don't want to miss there show!!!
I feel like this show is gonna be the most unexpected and talked about late-night this year. They are going to make a lot of people into believers after their show.

stumbling back from arcade fire and got to watch most of this set and it was SO AWESOME. waves of distorted fuzzed out goodness flowing through me the whole set. this set flew under the radar as far as i can tell, they killed it. the extended version of telephone was sick.

Black Angels were good as always. I saw them twice at roo once in the Focus tent on Friday and once at the late show. Focus tent was amazing got to sit in a car seat right in front of the tiny stage and got the set list written on a t shirt because they didnt have any paper to write on. Christian also broke one of his strings which was funny. This was the highlight of my bonnaroo for sure because there were maybe 100 people there and it was the third time I had seen them but the best time.
