anyone see the Lollapalooza headliners? Horrifying...
Right now I dig the Lolla headliners more than the Roo headliners. Exception would be Arcade Fire, who Lolla got last year, and Massive Attack, who I'm still not convinced of. And both are probably getting Eminem so moot point there. But I'd take Muse and Foos over WSP any day.
I would to Muse and foos over WS but not over AF and MMJ.
I'm sorry that you don't like it when I call you out on your "inside" sources. I don't mean to hurt your feelings.
I do get annoyed when people post here constantly passing off something the think will happen as fact.
Saying U2 is 100% and that the powers that be said it is not the same as saying you have a feeling will be there.
Even in your goodbye post you have mixed information. Are you coming to Roo or not? First you say you'll be back if AC/DC is booked then you say you'll see us on the farm.
Like I said......i'll apologize if all your inside sources told you all this info and it was true. I just like to make sure that the info I'm getting sounds legit and so far I don't feel that way with the stuff you've posted. Not sure if you're getting the wrong info, doing this for attention, or maybe I'm just completely out of touch and we will get all those acts you've claimed. We'll see.
oh, I will be on the farm. let's meet up and have a slice of pie and ride the ferris wheel
I like the added ambiguity about the nature of his relationship with the girl he's supposedly boinking for info. Are they having an affair? Is she in an open relationship? Is LuckyUserName part of a circle of swingers that work at Music Today? If so, do they have secret Live Nation orgies a la Eyes Wide Shut or is it more a free buffet/sex set up a la It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia?

Nah I love Arcade Fire and MMJ, don't get me wrong, but I'd definitely still pick Foos and Muse over them. Actually depends... I had Arcade Fire vs. Muse at ACL 2007, and I chose Muse then though...

So get this, I was walking my neighbor's cat the other day, and when I stopped to let it take a Leno I overheard a group of people walking by say (exact quote approaching) "My friend, who is the cousin of Justin Bieber's hairstylist's brother-in-law, says J. Bieb, Willow Smith, and Jimmy Page are preparing for a June performance in Tennessee"
So take that how you want to, but it sounds like we're getting a Justin Bieber, Willow Smith, Jimmy Page superjam.
I have a source with the Reality Bureau who is telling me increased hiring at a ticket broker who sells for a major festival is nothing amazing. It's also on Twitter.
Edit: ^^^Free tickets to damn near any show on your bday is awesome! Except Streisand...that's not awesome at all.

I feel the same way. hopefully the rest of the card fills out nicely.

Wow. I get leno'd by someone because I shouldn't have still been speculating headliners because we supposedly know all of the headliners? I mean my posts aren't relevant enough but the fight between ITM and LUN and his fake ass sources (which we know he's blowing smoke) are? Gimme a damn break. Since when do we know all of the headliners? Please, somebody shed some light if anybody on here even has the ability to not be an asshole on here anymore.
"I mean, Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees." "this whole situation has just turned his whole life upside down face."
2012: RHCP, Phish, Beach Boys, Aziz, The Roots, Alice Cooper, Superjam, Blackstar, The Word, Luda, Flogging Molly, Spectrum Road, Umphrey's, Black Lips, Gary Clark Jr., Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Trampled By Turtles
My wife and I are heading to see Interpol tomorrow in St. Louis, there's a band I could definitely see at Bonnaroo this year. She loves em, I'm fairly unfamiliar w/ their stuff, but that's cool for me b/c I like going to shows when I don't know the lyrics to most of the songs.
Edit: One Coco for the flux capacitor coming up, Dr. Brown.

i didnt leno you, but accoridng to insider the only headliner we dont know is whoever the Hip Hop act is for Sat night. there are some big names we dont know yet(which closers, possibly another LN stage act and some LN tent acts) but we are basically just waiting on one headliner.

my source says orgies, in large piles of "convenience" fees.
About all the kanye stuff, you do all remember him saying he has never been more embarrassed or disrespected in his entire life and that everyone running bonnaroo was a bunch of idiots and amateurs right?
a man who cried his way into a later set and left fans waiting for hours, is complaining about being embarrassed and disrespected. A man who essentially pissed all over his fans and didn't even awknoledge it at the time, is complaining about being disrespected?
Think about what this asshole did in the first place, think about how he reacted to it, and think about everything else he has done in his life. I don't care how good his music is, i don't want someone like that at bonnaroo. He's a scumbag and shouldn't get the privilege of playing the biggest and best music festival in the country (TWICE NO LESS, think about how many other insanely great bands will never get the chance to play bonnaroo twice)

Guy-With-Stupid-Movie-Reference-Username complains that people gave him not hard enough time when he made stupid suggestion compared to other guy who claims he porked someone to get Bonnaroo information and was then molested by whole board. Then Guy-With-Stupid-Movie-Reference-Username wonders aloud where are the people not being an jerkstores? Guy-With-Stupid-Movie-Reference-Username then excitedly twiddles his thumbs in anticipation of board molestation he's about to receive.

Hey, if you stick around at the end, maybe see if they're playing this year.
Please, somebody shed some light if anybody on here even has the ability to not be an jerkstore on here anymore.
The problem is the hope for a Prince, Radiohead, type headliner. All indications are that they are not happening. And as in years past, continued prophesying about their possible spot at the top causes a lot of hurt feelings in the end.

Was planning on it, bands are usually pretty accessible at this venue after shows. But I cannot promise to stay the whole time, if the crowd is filled with Leno people, I'm ghost.
Edit: I've semi-professionally reviewed a show or two in my earlier days, would be happy to offer some insight on Interpol live.

And Charlie-Chaplin-Guy feels he has telekinetic energy or something and can see into my brain. So glad I haven't ran into Mr. Summarize yet.

Trust me, it gets ugly:
Thank you for being cool about it. I'm a noob, but atleast I'm not coming on here spouting how I have inside sources or saying that I know anything for fact like a lot of you on here. Just trying to get involved on the discussions, especially since everyone I know is tired of me talking about Roo. Seems like nobody gets tired of it on here.
