Camp Marty McFly right in front of the porta johns! Everyone that passed by said hi and/or came in for a smoke. It was a perfect location for people watching and friend making.
this was my first bonnaroo and i loved it. i know that the ones in year past were amazing. i met many great people and miss it so much. but my question is where were you camped out?
i was in han solo i was the tent with the 3 pirate balloons
I was in Camp Ron Slater, way past the church on bushy branch on the other side of the lake. They need more infrastructure out there. Way too many people camped there, and the nearest pod (9) is a more than twenty minute walk from the furthest out parts of the area. There at least needs to be a water station somewhere over there.
Anyway, if you were over there, we were the camp with the big Texas Longhorns flag, with a big black T-Shirt flag nearby.
We were also in Ron Slater. I agree, to get to Pod 9 was horrible. Luckily my sister's boyfriend came up Saturday and brought us jugs of water so we didn't have to make the hike.
Pod 1 (I am pretty much a fixture there) Camped with my vendor friends there. I wasn't really supposed to be camped there, but the vendors, volunteers, and staff got half their usual space so we just got up in there. Me being a very happy camper with tons of room! I already know about two inforooers who camped right by me and walked by a million times a day, but they didn't know it was me! Which really sucks cause they are two of my favorite ones!
I don't think our section had a name, and I'm feeling very cheated by this fact. We came in EARLY Thursday morning and they put us over in the corner-with-no-name ---- corner of East 1st St and 1st Ave. (The little area under Camp Daniel Larusso on the map.) If you look on the map, we were literally just feet from Admin Way on the backside of VIP parking. We could see the What Stage from our spot and the walk wasn't bad at all. But the noise level from dump trucks at all hours of the night left a little to be desired. (I think they were dumping sand or something.)
Anyone know if this area has a name and it's not listed or if I am just going to have to be satisfied with knowing that my first camp over stay at Bonnaroo was "nameless"?
We were right next to the Pod 9 showers. Not a bad spot, bit of a hike though. The rest of our group ended up in Pod 1. Adults can't play follow the leader
back left of Rocky Balboa by the tree line. If you saw a big 20' x 20' yellow and white party tent that was us.
I was in Rocky Balboa also and was part of the camping group from pa that played the 3 table long game of flip cup with you on Sunday night. Good Times!
Nice, I remember you guys. I wasn't playing, too busy putting on the glowsticks.
We were in Camp Chewbacca, 6th Ave. and West 2nd St. We were so close to porto's/water/food as well as a school bus with fire dancers that would dance on top and ignite the night. With a 5 min. walk to centeroo, it was a great spot compared to the past.

i was right on the other side of those kentucky canopies. in pod 1, never figured out if it was jaws or pu$$y galore.
I have no clue what our area was called. I think it might have been BFE...sure felt like it. past pod 9 on the other side of a big retention pond or something, and further out than that. way out Bushy Branch.
I'm pretty sure around the center of Camp Zoolander. Nothing exciting about our campsite. Just an overheated, white van (from running the a.c. all day) and our canopy that my boyfriend and I used as a tent. I need to get an actual tent next year.

We were in Access, Camp R2D2 along West 1st st and 4th ave. We went in Wednesday, waited 3 hours. It was the best experience I've had so far at Roo logistically. It was pretty much a straight shot from the ferris wheel entrance. We had a perfect view of the ferris wheel which was nice since it had some amazing visuals this year. The only annoying thing were the generators in the RV camp next door. I was thinking sabotage the whole weekend but instead opted for ear plugs. Those things saved my weekend.

Camp Hansel - so much better than last time, being in BFE. We got there late on Thursday and had tons of room even though we were so close to Centeroo. Loved it!

my group was riiight in the middle of camp zoolander, near pod 6. (: the people parked next to us dissapeared right after parking, so we had double the space for our tent.
