Firday: Muse (headline), Furthur (ln which) Saturday: Brian Wilson (pre-h), Elton John and Leon Russell with guests (headline), Lady Gaga (ln What) Sunday: My Morning Jacket (pre-h), Neil Young (headline)
To me, this feels like the most reasonable prediction. Nobody too huge or out of reach, and everyone fits in their spots nicely. And there's something for (almost) everyone Nicely done

I love everyone getting behind the idea Brian Wilson at Bonnaroo. For some reason I feel like it would never happen. I don't know why, maybe too big of a crowd for wilson. Anyway, how about a Brian Wilson as a pre-headliner leading into Paul McCartney, rather than Elton John and Leon Russell (which I agree would also be awesome). I Just feel like that would be amazing and unique to have those two, who inspired each other so much, share the stage. A pipe dream I know.
Edit: By everyone I mean about 7 or 8 of us on the board.

Notes:
- The "/" means alternate, as in one band or the other. I understand that its pretty broad, but its still eleven months away from the next Bonnaroo. I'll narrow it down as time goes on.
-I'm sure there will be 20-35 bands for Cafe/Thursday acts I have never heard of before.
- I also think that there will be one band/act they will get that everyone will be surprised/pleased by. (Dave Chappelle/Daft Punk etc...) It is the 10 year anniversary after all! -- If that act is a musical performance that they will, more than likely, have a late night main stage act Friday and Saturday in 2010. Similar to the time slot Jay-Z had this year and Kanye West in 2007.
- Also, I think, that Dave has confirmed that next summer will be his first summer off in years. If I hadn't heard that, I would automatically have Dave Matthews Band on here. This is also why Widespread Panic is on the list.

I'd take REM and Outkast over KoL/DMB and Jay-Z. I think a lot of people discount REM, but imo they are one of the best 5 or 10 rock bands ever. (I'm sure I'll later regret that.)

if gaga steps foot onto the farm ill be heart broken.
i dont know if anyone mentioned this but blink 182 is supposed to have an album out towards the middle of 2011, it wouldnt suprise me if they headlined
If Blink-182 actually plays at 'Roo I will be hugely upset. I doubt it would keep me from goin', but damn would I be mad. At least I'd have a block of free time I suppose...but damn that would just suck hardcore.
R.E.M. would be just as big of a draw as DMB, they're just not as jammy. And as far as Outkast vs. Jigga, Outkast is much more interesting and has almost as much mainstream appeal. I would not complain at all with R.E.M. and Outkast as two of the headliners. That said, they would need a couple more headliners with wide appeal. R.E.M. would draw a big crowd, but they couldn't carry the lineup.
And I agree with the poster who said that R.E.M. is one of the 10 best bands ever. Which would also make them one of the best American bands. Their early stuff is pretty flawless.
