My Morning Jacket's headlining Sunday night. REM is a possible Friday night headliner, as well as Kings of Leon. There's also a rumor that Thom Yorke Band will be doing a main stage late night and that Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining Saturday. Other acts this year are said to include Arcade Fire, Pavement, Bright Eyes, and Man Man. Discuss amongst yourselves.
It's fun to throw a ball in a corner and see everybody poke at it isn't it?
But if Thom Yorke's unnamed project plays, I'll wet myself.
Alright folks. Here's another rumor to get started:

Also coming soon will be an all-star tour honoring Jimi Hendrix. As Variety reports, the fourth incarnation of the “Experience Hendrix” trek will feature a number of high-profile guitarists — Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford, Doyle Bramhall II, The Isley Brothers’ Ernie Isley, and Living Colour’s Vernon Reid — playing music written and inspired by Hendrix. The rhythm section will include longtime Hendrix friend and collaborator Billy Cox (bass) and Double Trouble’s Chris Layton (drums). What’s more, select tour dates will also included appearances by David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, Susan Tedeschi, and Robert Randolph’s Sacred Steel. Find tour dates below; tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, December 11th via Ticketmaster.com.

I'm sorry, but a Kings of Leon/RHCP(or Who)/MMJ at the top of the bill would be one of the more uninspiring and bland headline sets I've ever seen. Only MMJ would be 'epic' and they don't really have the mainstream appeal to draw that many people. As much as I like Thom Yorke, a late night What set? I only see Late Night What happening for something like Daft Punk.
I would like to see...
Friday What: Pavement -> R.E.M. -> Daft Punk (Late Night) Which: John Fogerty -> String Cheese Incident (Late Night)
Saturday What: The Roots -> Stevie Wonder* Which: The Black Crowes -> Arcade Fire (Late Night)
Sunday What: Furthur -> Dave Matthews Band Which: Them Crooked Vultures
*This is more of a wish, I'd expect either Roger Waters or Paul McCartney as they're both touring.
Some other bands I'd like to see:
The Roots Silversun Pickups Umphrey's McGee Blackroc Groove Armada The Gaslight Anthem

ROGER WATERS • COLDPLAY • DAVE MATTHEWS BAND • MY MORNING JACKET • RUSH Allman Brothers Band • String Cheese Incident • Pavement • John Mayer • Arcade Fire • Leonard Cohen • Justice • Monsters of Folk • Tenacious D • Vampire Weekend • STS9 • The Dead Weather • The Roots • The Wailers • Spoon • Phoenix
Friday: What- John Mayer, Coldplay, String Cheese Incident (Late Night) Which- The Dead Weather, Pavement, Arcade Fire (Late Night), STS9 (Late Late Night)
Saturday: What- Tenacious D, Rush, Roger Waters, My Morning Jacket (Late Night) Which- Phoenix, Spoon, The Roots, Justice (Late Night)
Sunday: What- Vampire Weekend, Allman Brothers Band, Dave Matthews Band Which- The Wailers, Leonhard Cohen, Monsters of Folk
Thats not very realistic. Rush wouldn't be a seubheadliner, leonard Cohen wouldn't play on the Which Stage during the day(if he would play at all), and there probably won't be latenight acts on the What. Plus its way to top heavy.
I don't get why people think that Stevie Wonder could hold down a headlining spot. He's popular, I'm not contesting that, but I really, really doubt he would have the kind of mass appeal that would allow for him to headline a festival of 80,000 (particularly not Saturday night, which would make him the top-billed act of the whole festival). If he plays, I'd picture him in the early evening, "legends" spot on the What Stage.
EDIT: And I agree with Chandler, Rush would definitely be a headliner. I'm finding it hard to picture them anywhere else. I don't really know much of their stuff beyond "Tom Sawyer", but I would be very interested to see them. Neil Peart is one of the greatest drummers I've ever heard, and I know that they're one of those acts that's so influential that they're probably your favorite band's favorite band. So bring 'em on. I don't think they're likely for 2010, but bring 'em on nevertheless.

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

Rush would be a fun late night.
Stevie Wonder played the Taste of Chicago a couple years ago. Granted it's free admission and located smack in the middle of a large city, but crowd estimates were around 78,000.

I'd have to agree he would headline. Although I'd think he play Sunday for some reason.
They always play Stevie on the pa in between sets, I always think that's someone's way of telling us who to expect next year. Last year it was the Beastie's waiting for Kanye's set. (Jay-Z was also played, so this isn't fool proof by any means.) I just hope this doesn't mean whoever wrote Chocolate Covered Strawberries plays next year.
