And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
Its so close to roo it may not be broken though...It may just be fractured or swollen they couldnt tell do to the swelling...
Who wants to help a cripple around roo?
OMG - I just had ankle surgery last week - I can tell you - if it is broken OR if you will be on crutches - check with your doc about a temporary handicap placard for your vehicle - you can then camp in access camping which is close to Centeroo.

Damn dude that sucks. I'm an xray tech and I've seen many sprained ankles that looked a lot worse than fractured ankles, and they hurt just as bad. It must be pretty swollen if they are questioning told you to come back if it hurts in a week. I'm positive that it'll still hurt you in a week and I would recommend getting it xrayed again just to be sure.

That totally sucks man!!! I had to sell my tickets in 07 because I shattered my ankle 2 weeks before roo. Ankle injuries are the worst. After reconstruction surgery mine still acts up and gets sore all the time. I will probably need more surgery in the near future.
I would ask if they could put you in a walking cast. I had a nasty sprain once that I had to recover SUPER quickly from to dance on it, and they actually casted it for a week to heal it. I would try that if it's not broken.
then you should be fine (and psstt - there is more room in access - so you may be able to spread out a little more - it really is worth it is you need it - I would say just wait until next week and see if yu really need it - your ankle may be good in a few weeks
God I hate hearing about ankle injuries *shudder*. When I worked on a boat in '05 I shattered my ankle and even after surgery it's never been the same. I wish you luck and I'm sending good vibes your way in hope it's nothing serious!
my question about Handi camping is could my whole crew of 10 get in there?
they let our whole crew in last year, of about 12, 3 cars, camper and multiple tents. we had some car troubles on the way in and didnt end up getting in til about 2 p.m. and we were still one of the FIRST groups to get into handi-camping. Everyone was super cool and it was a regular 'ol Roo for us..
It would seriously help reduce the strain on your walk though, so i'd consider it if your ankle is still that bad.. but you'll have to get a sticker from your Doc.
Broke a little bone in my foot a few weeks ago, I was like GREAT this is sure going to suck walking miles a day at Roo, on clumps of grass and stuff. Fortunately, it seems to have healed completely already. Maybe you will get lucky and be without pain in three weeks!
well since this seems to be the hot thread...would it be a scumbag move to use a friend's father's handicapped thing to get 2 cars into access? Last year was BFE and was not FUN.
yes - you would be a scumbag to use someone else's placard to get into access if you don't need it - it would be bad juju and bad karma all rolled into one and the karma will come back to bite you on the ass!
