I don't believe that humans are meant to be monogamous as a whole.
I think it depends on the person. As I say with many things, as long as everything is over board and all participants in it are ok with it, it's alright by me.
Everyone has to be on the same page for sure! Communication and being secure with the situation is a must.

My last relationship of 5+ years went on way too long. I was under so much stress that I couldn't make myself dump him because I knew it would break him and I'd have to deal with the fallout. The first two years were good but after that he kept getting crazier and lazier as time went on. One night I went out with two friends to benefit party for an old friend's son who was dying of cancer. We knew we were staying two hours at most. This crazy s.o.b. had the nerve to call my bestie and tell her if she took me out and I fucked anybody he'd kill her, and that's the kind of crazy I have zero tolerance for. The breakup did make him snap mentally, but he was close to it anyway. I dealt with him basically stalking me for the first two years (including coming to Bonnaroo in 2011 and finding me on Thursday afternoon), and during the last two he has still tried to contact me on occasion. The last text I got from him was on 3/22. It's been four years and I'm still not in a hurry to find someone.

Damn. And I just dumped my last girlfriend two years ago because it got boring.

Wow. That's a crazy situation it sounded similar to me until the middle part. I would have blocked his number a long time ago. Do you guys have a lot of mutual friends?

That's not the worst/scariest relationship I've had. If shit gets boring you shake it up and make it not boring. Unless she's not the one for you anyway, then yeah, time to let it go.

I just got a phone that allowed me to block his number about a month ago. I've had his ass blocked on facebook for a long time. I just ignore any contact he makes, I don't even give him the whole "leave me the hell alone!" anymore. That seems to work better than anything else. We don't really have a lot of mutual friends and he lives 30 mins from me. I just try to avoid going out or doing anything in his town where I might run into him. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he still lurks here from time to time, because I know he's done it in the past. If so.... Get a life and move on, Clint.

I'm willing to be that worst/scariest relationship if your willing.

I don't really know what you mean by this. Are you saying your for open relationships or am I just tired?
If I thought open relationships were in anyway something that would actually work I'd be all for it. But people are innately jealous so it'd never last long.
I mean anything really. People find and express love in so many different ways. Monogamy is for some and not for others from what I have seen. Either route is fine as long as everyone involved is okay with it.
May be off topic, but as a first timer, this is super important to know. Does it get chilly enough at night for cuddling? I need to know for science, of course.

Depends on the night and your threshold for stank.

The past two years....yes...I was freezing around the 4-6am mark.
In 2010.....not even a little.
For most years there is at least one night where you want a sweatshirt and wish the rain would let up.
But, no one ever said cuddling on a blanket at a mid day show was overrated. It's not. It's magical.
