Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
I know this may be big for some, but seems like a good price. Nice if you have a group of people camped next to each other. 10'x20' canopy with sidewalls for $100 with free shipping!
i would think with sidewalls like that you would DIE inside there in the bonnaroo heat. you gotta let it breathe.
I had a shade that size, plus another small EZ up. Pretty much saved my life at Roo. I put walls up on three sides. I think that was perfect. It was pretty difficult taking it down Monday morning with all that rain

This is a pretty common tip but can be easy to forget about:
So what y'all can do is search a specific brand (like EZ-UP or camelbak) on google (just the brand name) and usually there's a google shop thing In your results and you can click on something like "view more" and it'll bring you to a web page with all the results. Now what you do is click "sort: price low to high" and a lot of times you can find really discounted items in that specific brand and the websites are almost always reliable. I say "almost always" because I've never had a bad experience but in case something happens with you guys I don't want to deem it ALWAYS reliable.
Anyway, there is just a tip. I can post some findings on here soon too happy shopping!
Woot.com has 72 batteries (AA or AAA) for 14.99 + 5 shipping TODAY only (2/5). Maybe a little excessive but batteries are never a bad thing to have a lot of. Also I'm sure it has been mentioned but woot.com has daily deals.
In regards to solar phone chargers. etc., I just saw this: Scosche solar charger, regular $29.99, on sale for $16.99, $11.99 after $5 promo code, free shipping. I have no idea if it is adequate, but the reviews are good and for 12 bucks I'm willing to try it out. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855994080

EDIT: The $5 promo code is good through 2/11.
Nice find, thanks. Reviews on Amazon are mixed, but for $12 I think it is worth a try.
Sports Authority is offering 20% off your entire order today through Saturday. Some exclusions apply (like, CamelBak is excluded). You can get free shipping through ShopRunner on most items or free shipping on any order of $75 or more. Might find some good deals on camping equipment, clothing, etc. I found a few cots for $50, would be $40 after 20% off.
Lowes has a neat flexible battery powered lamp available for in-store pickup, only $2.48. They have it in black and red too.
Amazon has a Coleman 8 person tent for $99. Pretty good price I think for a large tent with great reviews.
Also on Amazon, this pack of 100 10" glow bracelets for $9.97. I bought this same pack last August for $10.99 for a concert, nice quality.
Lastly, not a "deal" but a neat caddy for keeping eggs from cracking. Those of you who like to cook breakfast at roo will appreciate this.
Clamps $5.99 with free shipping. (12-assorted size) not sure of the quality and they ae almost sold out but for $6 Ill take the risk. Clamps ALWAYS come in handy at Roo
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
Thanks, linana! Ordering the Camelbak and some other stuff for my sister. That cot got mixed reviews on Amazon, but I love my Daystar Camelbak. Nice deal.
Talk to me like I'm a second grader because this will be my first camelbak. It seems to have good reviews.
I don't think you can really go wrong with Camelbak brand hydration packs. You mainly want a big bladder (why did they have to call it that? Sounds so gross.) and everything else is a bonus. That one is 100 oz which should last you a couple hours at least. I like that it has straps on the sides to squish the bag a bit. I think it's a good choice.
I would recommend buying a bite valve cover or your mouth piece will be covered in dirt and portapotty germs.

Not a problem. That sounded like an advertisement, but I was just trying to say the brand seems like all of its products are pretty solid. My sister had a Ful hydration pack and it was awful - terrible design and the tubing broke. It did provide lots of laughs at her expense as it leaked all weekend, but my camelbak has held up much better. Hope you love yours, too.

totally agree with this! I got grossed out seeing all the dirt and thinking how much dirtier it could get after using the portos wearing it, etc so finally got a bite valve cover on Amazon.
I'm looking at this shelter and the sprint shelter doesn't show up anywhere but Gander mtn and Overtons. Do we know if it has been discontinued or is a store specific model? I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between this one and the ones that are the same size and by the same company but cost 50 bucks more.
Good question. I can't find any info on it, either. It looks just like my Sierra IIs, but it doesn't have the white trim on the edges. Not sure that the trim changes anything, ha. I got mine around the same price on sale, and they aren't discontinued.
