I am thinking of lugging the cornhole set to Bonnaroo if there is interest. Will be in the camping only area. If you are unsure what that is I promise it is a game, not an Office Space reference.

I went to the DMB concert in Pittsburgh this weekend both days. On saturday, I seen some one playing this game. I have never heard of it and they told me it was called "corn hole"
I laughed all day, matter of fact, everyone in my group laughed uncontrolably all day about that. I suggested they paint the board like an actuall "corn hole" maybe pink with some black hairs around it. Anyways I will not be playing corn hole this weekend.

I am from Baltimore but lived in Columbus Ohio for a bit. This game was EVERYWHERE at OSU games. I thought my friend was teasing me about the name, but no, it actually is called this. May have started as a joke somewhere way back. I'd be up for playing.

there are different variations, but basically it's a knockoff of horseshoes.
You have two boards spaced about 25' apart from each other. The boards are propped up and each has a hole in it. You play with one partner who stands at the opposite board. You throw two (or four) bags then your opponent who is standing at your board throws two. If your bag lands on the board it's 1 point. If it goes in the hole it's 3 points. Your opponent's throws cancel out your points though, so say you put one on the board and one in the hole (4 points), then your opponent puts two on the board (2 points), you score 2 points. You play up to 21 points. Some play where you have to land on 21 exactly, and if you don't, you go back to 13 points.

Hmm, sounds nice. Reminds me of Frisbee Golf? Anyone ever play it? Lots of fun, though i would doubt that I would take the time to play it as opposed to seeings lots of music. Could be something for you wednesday arrivers though!
