3PM Interview with Bonnie Raitt: during her thirty-five year career, Bonnie Raitt has been as known for her social activism as she is for her music, from being a founding member of MUSE (Musicians United for Safe Energy) which produced the historic concerts, album and movie, NO NUKES in 1979 to her current Green Highway Festival fueling tour vehicles with B20 Biodiesel and wind-offsetting her concerts. Bonnie Raitt sits down for a one-on-one interview with Rock the Earth Executive Director Marc Ross to talk about her environmental, political and social justice work.

DR. JONATHAN PERSHING (Thurs: 5 / Fri: 4:30) is Director of the Climate, Energy and Pollution Program at the World Resources Institute. He is actively involved with the design of emissions trading programs with individual US States, energy technology projects in the US Federal Government and the evolving architecture of international climate agreements with governments in the OECD, G8 and major developing nations.
DANIEL A. LASHOF (Sat: 4:30 / Sun: 4:30) is the science director and deputy director of NRDC's climate center. He is active in the areas of national energy policy, climate science and solutions to global warming. Dan is involved in developing federal legislation to place enforceable limits on carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping pollutants and to reduce America's dangerous dependence on oil. He has followed international climate negotiations since their inception and is a lead author of the Special Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change on the role of land-use change and forestry in exacerbating or mitigating global warming.
