I've experienced a lot of physical pain in my life, be it my back, having three kids, breaking knees, etc. But nothing comes close to the pain I'm experiencing with an abscessed tooth ligament. I feel like my face is going to explode. And all because I clench my teeth when I'm stressed (which has been a lot lately) & grind my teeth at night. So now I just keep suffering until the antibiotics kick in, all the while popping pain killers like they are candy. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I'm a clencher and grinder, too. I'm sorry you're in so much pain! Hope the antibiotics take care of everything.
Sick as a dog but need to keep going. I hate the winter. I also hate the coat check attendant who lost my gloves and scarf last weekend, likely causing me to be sick
Ugh, sorry to hear you're in pain Steph. Hope you're feeling better soon! Are they going to go in after the abscess once the antibiotics kick in a bit?
They told me yesterday that hopefully the antibiotics will be enough. If not I have to go to an endodontist.
sorry you're dealing with that, I know tooth pain is the worst. if you do need one though, I have a recommendation for a great endodontist.
Today was my last day of work before vacation. So of course now my car won't start.
I just made it home and it's still being weird. My dad just called a friend and we're trying something. I hope this works because this is my only ride to Jackson (2 hours away) to the airport so I can get to Arizona. I'm not upset...just find it funny the timing of things. Oh well. When life throws you lemons right?

Does everyone complaining about 3 inches of snow not know what people deal with in northern latitudes every day? Be mad at your city officials for not clearing your roads, but don't whine to me about how cold it is.
I did 5 years working outdoors, at night, in Michigan. When I got the call for my job transfer to Florida, I danced an irish jig in 3 feet of snow.

I believe this page is the fuck the tooth and car fairy page.
Here's my story with those two assholes. Dave parked the car (my mom's car mind you and the only one working) at the bottom of the road because it was unable to get up the hill. So when he went to fetch it there was a pinky sized hole through the windshield. Well damn. Then he is going to take it to get estimates and it won't go into reverse, the transmission is shot. Well we could just use the car I bought a year ago BUT it's in the shop...again...with another 400 repair bill and that may or may not fix it. To heap a big ole pile of shit on that, the money I was saving to fix two teeth is now going to cars. The pain of eating out of both sides of my mouth is killing me but I suppose that's how life goes sometimes. Sending hugs to the others that the tooth/car fairy has shit on recently.
So I'm driving home from school last night, and there's a f*cking deer casually walking across the road. I hate it when that happens, I get scared for a minute and paranoid the rest of the drive... plus a few days afterwards. I see way too many deer running around while driving, it's not good.
This morning I also saw a dog running around in the road near my house. At 6 am. At 5 degrees above zero. A couple weeks ago, nearly the same situation: that dog in the road, 6 am, but 3 degrees below zero. I'm afraid it's going to get hit, or get frozen being left outside in this cold too long.

Blame the folks who hate hunting.
More deer populating the untied states today then when Columbus landed in 1492.
I'm sorry that our forefathers killed all of their natural predators. That wasn't me. But I eat what I kill, and I kill deer. It's a lot cheaper (with a deep freeze) then beef is. It actually helps my species at this point to try and control that population

I haven't been home in over 3 weeks and coming in for a visit tomorrow. I was really excited about my morning flight and being back in town by 10:00am, but I just got an email saying that it got moved until after 12:00. Now I have to taxi to my house from the airport since my wife will be at work when I land.
A good friend of mine of over 8 yrs has been dating this complete bitch for about 2 yrs. Typical story about your buddy who is blinded from all her terrible qualities and she has slowly picked off all his friends. Tonight was my night. She pretty much gave him a ultimatum and he chose her. I want to be mad at her, but shes not the only one to blame. He's so dumb to see past her shitty qualities it amazes me. I guess I'm just sad that I might be losing one of my good friends. Indeed a Grrr
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

You could always prove to your friend you give better head and win him back?
So I set out on my merry way last night to photograph Phosphorescent at a venue here in Columbus I have never been to. I did my usual recon on the venue and uncovered no real evidence they had a proper photo pit. With that, I arrived about 15 minutes before the opener was set to begin their set. From what I read and saw in my searches I gathered the venue was on the small side, but I had no clue I was going to run into the clusterquack in store for me. As I walked in the the stage was to my right and a the bar was to my left. The bar stretched almost the length of the venue. So people coming in were immediately running into people waiting for drinks at the bar. Add that the "floor" was already packed full, literally shoulder to shoulder, there was now a three way clusterquack of people trying to get to and from the bar to the floor and people trying to enter the venue. We found a small space to stand in the very back, I figured I would wait for the opener to finish and then take advantage of the people going to the restroom/getting drinks/going to have a smoke to make my way to a decent vantage point. This has worked for me several times at various venues. Not this time! When the opener finished nobody seemed to move. Or more likely it was so packed in the place people were simply exchanging places places from the bar to the floor area in front of the stage. I did give it a college try and tried to make my way up...I am not a pushy person but I can usually get to where I need to be. It took almost 15 minutes to make it with in 10 rows just to the right of the stage...a horrible vantage point that would have required me to hold the camera above my head for every shot. The keyboard player would have obstructed every shot. I had finally been defeated by a venue. I retreated tot he back and listened to about 5 songs but got fed up with two or three groups of people that seemed only yo come to have a conversation (some of the people were actually standing with their backs to the stage talking with others) My girlfriend has some hearing deficiencies so it toally made the show inaudible for her. We then made for the only exit in the joint, wading through the now super compact throng of people to get to the exit/entrance at the bar/stage/exit bottleneck. It was a nightmare. I cannot fault the people at the venue, most were there to see a great show. The layout of the place was horrible and most of grrrrrrr comes from putting all the work I do to obtain a photo pass then coming away with nothing.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

At least you're getting nods from your other gigs! I captured this screen shot last night
Thanks bonz! Yes, that was very cool of them to do that, I am very appreciative. I have made some good contacts. Their publicist is an awesome guy.
I am grateful for what I have got. Umphrey's with The Werks opening tonight at LC Pavilion, it is a big venue with a professional photo pit. So no anxiety.

I didn't even know teeth had ligaments! Hang in there.
If this pisses you off too my daughter is selling them, $3.50 a box and we'll ship. I've thought about sending some to this jerk in Waco but is seems like a waste of perfectly good cookies!

I woke up super early today (9:30a). Like abnormally early on any day, but especially since I went out last night and got hammered. So I FINALLY fall asleep to take a nap before work (I work 11p-7a) and 20 mins in my uncle calls me and the vibrate woke me up and I haven't been able to fall back asleep. This is particularly annoying too because I haven't been sleeping well in the first place lately... Damn It all to hell.
ok, so yay for seeing Neutral Milk Hotel but a giant effing GRRR that our already crazy long drive home (six hours!) is taking way longer due to the torrential downpour that has not stopped the entire way. I'm really glad G is driving, but the lack of sleep + frustration about being in the car sooooo long is making me feel a little crazy. there is probably not enough caffeine in the world to make me functional at work in 3 hours :/
