We've been working on a solution that we hope will please everyone. There's been no confusion with the polling. Just other issues came up and real life gets in the way of internet message boarding. Thanks for the concern though. I'm going to lock this one up and if you want to comment further you can continue to do so in the original thread: www.inforoo.com/thread/32223/another-word-filter-poll
Sorry for any confusion. We appreciate your patience
May I ask what the solution you're working on is? Or is it a surprise?
GRRRRRR!! It really makes me mad that I devoted my entire morning to being ready for Bonnaroo presale only to have the webite NOT WORK! Multiple error messages, count down timers that resulted in a error message (?) only to find tickets were sold out. I didn't have any problems with presale the past 3 years
Was waiting for 12pm to reserve tickets to the free Run the Jewels/Phony PPL show in BK on the 13th... But of course Ticketmuster can't get their shiz together and w/o a payment option won't submit orders. Called them and they were very unhelpful - the operator just was like... they are sold out... (malarky- I was there at 12pm on the dot and the site wasn't working on either of my browsers.) Hung up - went to twitter and got consensus online about it. EL-P got on top of it and is getting Ticketmutters to fix it up asap.
AKA. EL-P is better than you.
edit: All fixed... yeeeeaaaa

Grrr compilation: The zipper on my jeans keeps unzipping on its own, so I have to basically feel my crotch every time I stand up from my desk. My daughter has a cheerleading competition 3 hours away in a different timezone tomorrow morning, so we're driving tonight. With my boyfriend's 63 year old mom and 73 year old stepdad. They don't know we smoke. 3 hours with 2 senior citizens, 2 9 year olds, at night, in the rain, no smokes. This won't end well.

got a bill from my dentist (some dude that just bought the practice from my wonderful lady dentist) telling me i owe 145 for my last checkup. the heck? pretty sure basic checkups are covered.
called insurance (dentist doesn't work on fridays) and asked about it. apparently, my dentist has decided to stop accepting my insurance as of 10/31. my appt though, was on 10/28, and thus according to insurance folk my dentist agreed to write off these charges. yet, he still billed me and made no mention that he was going to bail on my insurance at the appt. what a jerk!
Sort of funny how the last post was about dentists and this one will be too.
So 2 days ago I got into 2 dental schools. I am so excited and considering everyone insisting that it was such a competitive year, I'm ecstatic that I got into 2 and have the choice. The GRRRR is that one is cheaper by 7k a year (28k + loan interest over 4 years) and the other one is the one I actually want to go to and think I would do extremely well at.
I still have a month to decide but I keep talking myself out of each decision by the hour.

Any chance that either school happens to be Creighton University??

No Temple and Pittsburgh. Do you go to Creighton or know people who do?

haha thanks and I definitely won't.
By the way, if your appointment was the 28th and he decided to stop taking your insurance on the 31st, this shouldn't be your responsibility to pay at all. When you went to him (or the woman who owned the practice beforehand), most likely you signed a form that stated, you'd be responsible for any payments NOT paid by insurance. But if your insurance was in effect ON the actual day of the appointment, they should be covering you regardless of when he decided to discontinue policy with them later.

UH OH!? WHAT HAPPENED?! Just let it out...breatheeee
Do you have a cardboard box? If so, you have a sled.
My grandmother taught me that trick; if possible, get one with a shiny side that advertises the product. Its more slickery.
Also, sit on the scoop part of a snowshovel and hold the handle part between your legs while praying to the diety of your choice you don't rack yourself.

I just want to say, I NEED to say F!CKYOUSOMUCH COMCAST. F*****UUUUUUCCCK YOU!!!!
About a week ago I get a letter from them stating that starting December 1 "Comcast will trial a new monthly data plan in this area". The data plan; you get 300 GB a month at your regular rate if you go over that they tack on blocks of 50 GB and charge you $10 a pop. "The vast majority of XFINITY customers use far less than 300 GB of data in a month" Uh huh, right. How about the people who only have internet service and don't subscribe to the cable TV bundled package? Care to single out that group of customers and then repeat that sentence with a straight face?
I don't have cable TV. I can't justify paying $169+ a month for 295 channels I'll NEVER watch (that's what we were being charged for expanded Basic + HBO and Showtime). Now we have internet, a roku, couple of computers and a few subscription services like Amazon and Netflix. This saves us around $100 monthly and we can pretty much watch whatever we want.
Yesterday EVERY SINGLE WEBPAGE I went to had a pop up from Comcast covering 1/4 of the page saying I've gone over my 300 GB limit and I would have to log into my account to make that pop up go away. I've never logged into my account online, I have no fucking clue what my comcast email address or username is I always pay that sh!t over the phone. After the obligatory 45 minute hold I speak to a rep and I ask her in so many words WTF make this shi*t go away and never come back. We go in circles for awhile and she tells me there's nothing she can do, but she'll transfer me somewhere else, "please hold". I hang up because I'm not spending another 45 minutes or more to talk to another person.
Today I got a voice mail telling me there is an important message and to contact comcast "immediately" and reference ticket # blah blah blah. And I'm like "Holy shit! they've called me back and opened a trouble ticket for my issue. I was not expecting that kind of customer care from them. I'm impressed!" I call and it turns out the person I'm speaking with had no idea that I'd called last night. No, I received an automated call to INFORM ME THAT I'D EXCEEDED MY 300 GB and to call them. So not only am I gonna have to log into comcast every single time I open my web browser but I'm gonna gonna get robo-called (probably everyday until I call) bill collector style to boot for a bill that's not even late?!?! SO I talk to this guy, nice dude, and he informs me that that whole trial thing? Totally not a trial it's %100 being implemented! Also since Dec 1 to today I've used 339 GB. Sounds like allot but as I mentioned we use internet for everything, all of our devices use the wi-fi so we don't incur massive data charges from our providers and we stream all of our entertainment via roku or web based subscription.
Comcast is a monopoly in our area. You want internet? Your ONLY option is Comcast. And if your gonna get internet you better just ditch that roku and netflix streaming subscription and get our cable because we will F*CK YOU UP if you don't. Thanks for using comcast!

Yeah, I hate that damn limit too. We've been talking about cutting out cable because, honestly, tv isn't that great aside from a few shows. I worry about doing it some though because we are already teetering on the limit every month and making more use of Netflix and Prime would probably push it right on over.
A non-important/threatening GRRR.... I've had disaster salads two days this week. It's irritating because that's all I bring for lunch, so if it's messed up, I don't have any other options. So here I am, being hungry and grouchy
