I asked my grandfather for a ridiculously huge favor about a month ago, and he didn't respond, so I sent him another email yesterday asking if he'd thought about it, and he said he'd try to respond today, so now I am neurotically checking my email every thirty seconds or so, and possibly losing my mind a little bit. I can totally live with his answer no matter which way he goes. I just want to know what it is though.
i hate asking people to take me/pick me up from the airport. it feels like i'm asking them to do something inconvenient and totally out of their way. blech.
What do ya know? I have tickets to a Death Grips show, it gets postponed two days beforehand. On the rescheduled date, it gets canceled two days before hand.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I just don't like to inconvenience people like that.
Though when I booked my plane tickets for my trip to MOEMS - I scheduled it around my girlfriend's work schedule. She still said no to that, and a couple days later... well, we all know how that went.
Grrrr to likely $183 down the drain.

Having to write endless papers in college burned me out on writing, to the point where I have difficulty composing a fucking cover letter. It frustrates the hell out of me.
Atlanta has all of the best shows on work nights. Sometimes I wish I drove an IROC-Z and wore sleeveless shirts so I wouldn't give a damn what I had to do the next day.
It's normally two weeks on crutches and a few months of PT. The amount of work is so extensive, it's crazy to think you're able to stand on it that day (or night, depending when your surgery is done). I mean, no one wants surgery! At least once you are fully recovered from surgery your pain will be gone!
So I've had a little time to cool off. Thanks for the feedback, it was such a shock. I still don't know if I'll do it but your info is reassuring. I've never dealt with crutches, can I drive?
There was a wicked looking spider hiding behind the door handle on my van this morning. It jumped onto my hand for a second or so when I opened the door before I realized what was going on and I shook it off.

I feel your pain. That same exact thing happened to me except it was just behind the little door to the gas cap. Ugh.

No. NO!
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is the real reason driving gloves exist, right? I'm about to go buy some.
I almost walked right into this bad boy in Florida - I noticed the red spikes right before my face went into its web. I had never seen a spiny orb weaver before, and I've seen a lot of spiders.
