There's a new news update on the Bonnaroo website that says they expect to sell out of tickets in a few days and have just released a few more VIP ticket packages.
There's also an announcement of a cafe sponsered by Napster with places to uploaded photos and Tennesee BBQ. I'm veggie now, but still remember the taste of vinegar, seasoning, and pork from my time in Birmingham.
There's also an announcement on the Arcade/DJ tent.
They also have a blurb to remember to listen to Bonnaroo radio onsight.
I can only assume that the newly released VIP packages are comp/press packs that will go unused, so they're selling them off. To me, that indicates that things are just about strapped down...
oh boy... this Roo is gonna be so exciting! I can't believe there was a point, only last month, that I was doubting that it would sell out.. I bet it sells out before the weekend is over.

i think it might just be a ploy to sell more regular tickets, i don't think regular tickets are going to sell out, i would put the max capacity of the Roo at 63,756
well, you're already way off on that guess.. the highest numbered ticket i've seen so far was something in the 68,000's
there's a thread I made on the number of tickets.. jusdging by the fact that it went from 62,000 to 65,000 in just one week (the first week of May), I'd say it's a safe bet to guess that they're in the 70,000s at least.
It's not a ploy anymore-- the first "better get your tickets" announcement was a motivator and momentum trick, but this week's announcement was probably spot-on (especially since they actually stated that at the current rate it'd be sold out in just a couple days).
