I'm really glad that we in SC can now purchase Dogfish Head Brewery... last year in Asheville for Moogfest was the first and until now only time I had Dogfish Head. I sit here with a four pack of 90 Minute IPA, having heard rave things about this brew for years, and finally getting to try it out.

Dang. It's not even 6 yet and I'm about to switch from beer to liquor
Liquor before beer you're in the clear, beer before liquor you'll be sicker. Is that the saying? or is it "drink all the beer and liquor in your house and it doesn't matter". I'm hoping it's the latter.
Newport, Rhode Island is fukking beautiful at night. Sitting on the water, drinking beers and arguing about which old white guy(s) stole more from the American blues players of the first half of the 1900s. I wish I were going to be here for the NFF, 'cause I love this place. That is all.
Bout to go to the store to get a growler of somethin' good in celebration of finally getting hired after a grueling search for a job over the last few months.
This is actually SOBER rambling, because I've been on what amounts to a month-long bender.
Here's how it happened. My wife and I decided to truck up to Boston in our RV to spend some time with old friends. A few days here, a few days there. And every time we showed up at a new place, out came the booze, on popped the grill, and up cranked the music. Good times with good friends.
But after a month of hard partying, I'm done. The liquor cabinet and the wine cellar have been locked, and there's not a single can of beer left within a nine-mile radius. Time for my innards to recuperate.

Oh, God. Wine. Don't ever say the word "wine" to me again. For the last week of our trip we were up at our friend's cottage on Keuka Lake, in the heart of New York wine country.
