S'mores in an excellent idea! This may be a naive question, but how would we roast the marshmallows?
On a side note- if you guys are walking around solo (or with friends) and see a big flag of bright yellow Joe Boxer shorts with a big smiley on them, come over and say hi!
Well smores would be a great way to meet people! I believe some people set of bonfires? or have grills? I could be wrong. And I will most certainly look for your flag!
Ah, grills, of course! Obviously I won't be grilling since I hadn't thought of that.
Hope to meet lots of my fellow mo-towners down there as well as some new people. My friend and I will be the ones having trouble putting our tent up, look for us! This is my first time camping in 15 years.
I practiced this weekend! The tent seems easy enough, but the canopy- that's another story. My friend and I will most likely need the help of our neighbors for that. We're definitely going to be fish out of water with the whole camping thing...

Don't worry, you will not be the only one. My friend is the one who has the tent, and I have bugged her quite a few times about practing putting it up, but she keeps putting it off. ahhhh I'm sooo antsy sitting here doing nothing at work!
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain I like watchin' the puddles gather rain And all I can do is just pour some tea for two And speak my point of view But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me I'll always be there when you wake

Yeah, to doing nothing at work. I have been reading this forum religiously for the past 2 weeks while at work. Today is my last day though, I got the rest of the week off. Cant wait to get there.
we have a shade thing that we have setup several times and even marked the parts but its still a bitch and takes an hour. i too am sitting in michigan working with nothing to do but look forward to being in tn. and watching the clock creep by. yesterday was supposed to be my last day but i agreed to work one more day and now i wish i hadnt.

You should keep bugging her about it! My boyfriend and I practiced putting up our tent and our shade tent the other day, and we were really glad we did. They weren't even that hard, but I feel much better knowing that we know what we are doing.

I am going to bug her again today. It's getting to the point where I am extremly aggrevated, I went out and got all the supplies and only asked her to provide the tent and she can barely do that.
Lots of Michiganders coming to the roo! Good stuff

I may have to take up on that offer kind sir. I used to work out in Dearborn. Michigan Avenue and Scheoner (however you spell it), anyway I just remember taking southfield freeway to work many years ago. One of the worst and farthest jobs I ever had.

Don't worry about your friend, once you get there both of you will have an awesome time. Just drink enough water, wear sunscreen and go to as many shows as you can. You will be fine.

pulled us over for riding too close. said they smelled something. right. proceeded to throw everything out of the car and search. wrote tickets for possesion of our friend mary and those magical mushys. let us go. i know a lot of people say to refuse search cause its your right, blah blah blah. but i think the cops were cool with us because we let them do whatever and we were honest with em. things could have ended up much worse, at least we got to go to bonnaroo! on top of all that, our search caused a lady to rear end a semi right infront of us. talk about bad karma
