Yea that's a bit of a stretch. Matis was a total unknown before last year's 'roo as well - I think they're just asking him back.
And Tower is no Blockbuster, or FYE, or Best Buy. They should REALLY think about getting Amazon involved, imo. That would be a good move for all involved.
i really dont care. i download my music. if i like it then ill go see them live and pay them that way. cds should cost no more then 5 bucks a piece. but cats provided great service for 3 years and the way that they were treated and the reasons given for them to be replaced are wahts most troubling.
i dont know if id say matis was unknown before last year. tea leaf green was more unknown, put on a better show, and are not an mtv darling with a gimmick that will draw attention for an album or 2. and tea leaf green were told by superfly that they have a policy to not have bands repeat 2 years in a row. we all know how crazy of a statement that is

I'm just not seeing it, skyhigh. If by more "mainstream" you mean better facilities, a more well-run festival, and more legendary musical groups, then yes it is more mainstream.
dudewheresmyroo??? has been bitter about this for a while, and is sad that there isn't enough noodly jammy jams to appease his endless appetite for noodly jammy jams. I on the other hand embrace musical diversity, and am looking forward to broadening my horizons.
Had to do it, dude
lol......keith is a nooodly dood, thats why we love him
