Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
"Here is another clue for you message board people. Open up the church and you will see the steeple. Some of your guesses have been way off but correct for the wrong clues. Now I must cough."
Open Up & Silent Steeples...both songs by Dispatch, long shot but maybe?
REM's song "Bad Day" has the line "Heres the church, heres the steeple."
Of course, I'm hoping for REM, so I'll look for a clue wherever I can find one.

Got these supposed clues off of a Bonnaroo.com Blog. Please someone give me clarity "There is more than one Manchester..."
"Memphis is not Albany..."
"Clouds taste this way..."
"Some herrings taste red, Jimmy"
"Hard Substance, Soft Substance"
"Three certain birds add one"
"Janis Joplin Preserves will be served"
"Rumors are just rumors, but twist them sideways, grow your humor hair and they become a more yen reality. No, this is not about Fleewood Mac."
"It's not sour, what is sewed in the earth."
"Look to the center of Europe to get the sound, but the band comes from all around."
Anybody have any bright ideas about what it all means? Have I missed any?
the first one might be Manchester Orchestra.
the third one could either be a reference to the flaming lips album "clouds taste metallic" or to metallica, based on the title of the flaming lips album. somehow i highly doubt the flaming lips would headline two years in a row though. plus they are already confirmed for a headliner spot at wakarusa... something tells me a back to back flaming lips headliner is really unlikely. but yea i think the second one might be metallica.

REM June 11 Washington, DC, Merriweather Post Pavilion June 13 Boston, Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts June 14 Long Island, Jones Beach Theater June 18 Philadelphia, Mann Center for the Performing Arts
I just don' t see R.E.M. coming from NY to TN to PA. Maybe though, there are 3 days left to fill...
My friend, all Chris Sabo references get kama. That's a rule!
Good stuff. I am really trying to remember all of the Nasty Boys. Rob Dibble and Norm Charlton come to mind, but I know there was at least 1 more.
Randy Meyers. But I like to include Browning, Rijo and Danny Jackson. They were stacked in pitching that year.
How About
RF Paul O'Neil LF George Foster (got to love the machine days)
I grew up on the reds and love this conversation.
Here is my all time lineup of players I watched:
1B: Tony Perez 2B: Joe Morgan SS: Barry Larkin (though Concepcion would be just fine too) 3B: Pete Rose C: Johnny Bench LF: George Foster CF: Eric Davis RF: Ken Griffey Jr. SP: Jose Rijo RP: Norm Charlton CP: John Franco
You're reading too much into it. Probably a random stickler removed the info about a Feb. 6th announcement because that fact has yet to be officially confirmed by Bonnaroo. It makes it no more or less true, it just means someone didn't think it should be listed and changed it.
maybe... but i still think that Bonnaroo's long arm of the law reaches out, and has people pull stuff off their websites trying to keep things under wraps, and i'm sure that they keep replacing info on there. but who knows...
Man, as jacked up as wikipedia is...don't try to read anything into it. Most screwed up website on the planet.
Hey, Jude, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, Then you begin to make it better.
And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain. Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. Well don't you know that it's a fool who plays it cool By making his world a little colder.

IF UT was to reunite and they played roo...Where do u guys think they would play? They wouldn't be a headliner but i think like right before the headliner on saturday. I think that they would get a higher spot than Oysterhead did but only because they were around longer and spawned two of the best bands today!
Either the slot wilco or the white stripes had last year. I would think on sun. But once again this will never ever happen.
hey everyone. did i miss something with the clues thread? I try to pull it up and i keep getting the "you're trying to access a page that doesn't exist" bit....

i think i'm going to cry if metallica is there.
yeah, there's no way they are coming, wayne told us he'd come back when they had something new for us, the spaceship show has been going on a few years. but they didnt headline, last year which is demonstrative of how badass bonnaroo is. but they are headlinging more than waka this year, like summer camp and a few others.
no chance of flaming lips this year, just because of the multitude of of fest they'll be at.
I've been m.i.a. for a while. I'll just say that my bets are on Paul McCartney and/or Coldplay headlining. Not saying it absolutely will happen. Just what I'm thinking
Karma when I can give it again. This is the best knews I've heard in a long time. And it's def. credible seeing as NME is one of the biggest music mags in the world. I'm guessing it'll be a British artist, seeing as it is a British mag
When I clicked on there, the banner ad was for Cure tickets?
I wonder if there's a connection there. I'm sure it's been brought up, but The Cure's tour schedule sure looks conducive to a stop in Tennessee:
The Cure St. Pete Times Forum Tampa, FL Wednesday 6/11/2008
The Cure Bank Atlantic Center (formerly Office Depot Center) Fort Lauderdale, FL Friday 6/13/2008
The Cure The Arena At Gwinnett Center Duluth, GA Sunday 6/15/2008
The Cure Charlotte Bobcats Arena Charlotte, NC Monday 6/16/2008
It's been brought up. The problem is essentially this: they are headliner level, but Saturday is the prime slot. That means The Cure would practically be headlining the festival which would not go over well with a lot of Roo-ers.

why is it condusive? you're telling me they drive from halfway down Florida up to roo on the 11th-12th and play... then drive back down to the bottom tip of florida?
or
Drive from the tip of florida all the way to the middle of TN on the 13th-14th, then back to GA the next night?
