Does anyone have any idea how many people the Other Tent will hold? This is my first Roo and I will not miss the chance to see the legendary JPJ with Ben and ?uestlove! I can only imagine how many people are going to want to see this once in a lifetime event.
I am sure it will get a bit crowded, but with SCI/STS9/DJ Shadow/ and Medeski & Martin all playing at the same time ,the crowd will be spread out enough to squeeze in there.
When it comes to certain shows, the tents (any of them) will overflow! Does anyone remember Sam Bush in '04 or The Mars Volta in '05?
For a show like this.....GET THERE EARLY!
Getting there early will be a good thing as well. I might cut away from Tool a little early (as much as it pains me to do) to get a spot to see who I want to see later that night.
The great thing is that I am going to see Tool this Friday in Baltimore. If I need to leave early then I will because I want to get a good spot for Superjam.

Ever since the schedule came out I was wondering why they put the TBD in the same spot as SCI and STS9 and the hip hop artists.
Now I see why. It'll really spread the crowd out I think, although I wish they hadn't announced the superjam lineup, cause I was already planning on checking it out cause I knew it would be something epic, while everyone else was rambling on (no pun intended) about string cheese or STS9.

I recall the Mars Volta in '05...and as I remember, I showed up just as they were about to go on (had no interest in Saul Williams, so I caught the first 45 or so of Galactic) and I was able to walk nearly right to dead center of the show. It wasn't that crowded...at least not until an hour later when people from all over the place heard the shrieking awesomeness that is the Mars Volta.
i left dmb early and tmv's tent was already packed. but if you walked up right when they were about to play it was like 2:30. first we waited for saul williams, then he played, then we had a really long wait for tmv. people probably had left by the time you got there. then it got crowded again after they started.
my thinking is that since there is nobody else playing in the Other Tent (or any other tent) during Tool, getting there an hour early should be good for a decent spot
Oh how do we see it all. Leave Tool early..miss SCI all together?!?! But let us not forget we are speaking of John Paul Jones! Ben Harper is one reason I was so STOKED for bonnaroo this year and now I get to see him twice and once with JOHN PAUL JONES! Is this an alternate universe
