umm i would say that is a no go. there isnt much room. cars are everywhere and people walk throught campsites all the time. plus little spikes that stick up out of the ground are an accident waiting to happen so i would think that there isnt room and could be dangerous to people and property. i doubt you will find time to mess with it anyway. there is just too much to do and when you are at the site its usually to rest

I disagee, If horse shoes is what you want...Do it. There is enough room...especially outside the group of cars you'll be next to. Somewhere you can find the space and throw some shoes. It's a great way to meet people, and well it's fun. DO what you wanna do!!!!
If you get parked way the hell out and theres not much traffic on the roads near your camp then you could maybe set them up on the side of a road. I dont' know though. It seems a little dangerous to be throwing horse shoes where people will be walking though. If you were determined and you look around enough you could probably find a place. Definitely not enough room right at your camp site though.

Frisbee & wiffle ball are not played with pieces of iron, or ground spikes. Definitely do whatever you want at all times, but be aware and yell before you chuck those things.

i would definetly recommend some frisbee or hacky sack over flying hunks of metal and little spikes in the ground. i love horseshoes and play it everytime i go camping. but for those who have not been to roo it is not camping. being in a tent is the only thing campy about it. camp is used to sit around rest and get fucked up. at any time that you get bored enought to set up horseshoes you will have plenty of other stuff to do. they give you no space at all. i am sure you could find a spot to play but again trashed people throwing hunks of metal at little spikes in the ground dosent mesh very well 80000 trashed and barefoot people. but to each their own. if you do play please make sure to be safe and take those damn spikes out of the ground as soon as you are done. one of the number one injuries at festivals is someone stepping or falling onto a tent stake and they are marked by a guideline and are next to a tent not just sticking up somewhere randomly just my thoughts. i cant imagine ever getting angry at roo but a piece of metal to the head or a spike through the foot would probably put me in a scrapping mood, roo just aint the place for it in my opinion.
between gangwars, glowsticks, and hoseshoes it will be a miracle if any of us survive

infaroo is the SHH{hush yo mouth}just the info i needed from er'body!!as a first timer i know not what to expect, just that i'm so amped..i now have a bit more understanding of the surroundings of camp and that shoes may not be "roo friendly" even if intenshions are good..and i think i would rather acidentally hit someone whith a hacky sack than a horseshoe..thanks for the thoughts and catch me hacke'ing at roo!!
