just lookin through some pics and was thinking how nice it would be if they got rid of that horribly placed beer stand ath the second stage...its like right in the middle... not only does it get in the way of the view but it completly ruins alot of the shaded areas becaus you will be staring at the beer shack the whole show... and it messes with the sound...it didnt see m to matter at all at j5 but i think it hurt some of the quieter acts..i thought jack johnson sound was bad as hell.. we got their right before it started so we were a good distance back, a little bit beyond that beer hut and it was almost inaudible....we pushed forward and to the right of it and it got better....anyone else hate that damn thing?
I thought Jack sounded great, but granted I wasn't near the beer stand. I was much closer to the stage. I have been saying for three years now that they need to get rid of that damn beer stand. Especially during the late night sets. It takes up valuable real estate.

I do remember seeing that during yonder mountain i think it was... I remember being suprised at how close to the stage it was, seemed out of place kinda...
I smoked something in front of the Beer shack last year during Trey. I was walking through the crowd during trey, shroomin, (the ground was purple velvet with starts shining...so comfy) and i see this dude with a t-shirt on walk bye me, and the t-shirt had my place of employment on it (MBNA). . . . .which was quite odd to see atthe Roo, so i followed the dude out to the beer shack, and and told him his shirt was evil. Then he asked me if i had a bowl, of course i did, so him and his friends packed something in it, smoked it with them, and off i went . .. . lol
actually the beer shack worked out pretty well another time too. The first day when Joss Stone was playing, we were trying to meet up with our friends from home, and Cells werent working, so we just sat down in front of the beer shack, and waited, cause we figured one of them would buy beer eventually . . . . . plan sucessful

Yah its easy to get stepped on when you sit down in a crowd, i've been guilty of stepping on peeps myself and i usually end up wondering, "Why are they sitting right there?" hehe
