I just looked at Lewis Black's appearances to see when he might be coming around and he has Bonnaroo up on his schedule. VERY FUNNY, I can't wait for this

YES!!!
The line looks worse than it is. Get in line an hour beforehand and enjoy the music from the neighboring tent from afar. Clouds or shade are key. The change of pace (and LEWIS FUCKING BLACK!!!) is well worth it.
Revolution is not something fixed in ideology, nor is it something fashioned to a particular decade. It is a perpetual process embedded in the human spirit. -Abbie Hoffman
Could it be that they just don't want him to have it posted before they officially announce it. (I know other acts have it posted before it's announced, but it was just a thought. I was so excited about seeing him!)
In my experice the line moved really, really fast. We were also at the last show of the night, however, and I think Panic/another big band was on the stage..it'd be cool if they did famous comedian+famous band combos so you could choose and have a good crowd either way...

You just MADE my day!!!!! OH MY GOD!! Not only is he my favorite comedian, but laughing at his CD's was the only thing that kept me awake last time on the 15 hour drive while my slacker friends slept!
Where do you see Bonnaroo on Lewis Black's schedule? I don't see it...
And re: David Cross, I'm a big fan of his humor, he's great in movies and on TV, a hilarious talk show guest... but I downloaded his standup album "Shut Up You Fucking Baby!" and gotta say I don't think it's very funny. Tried to give it a couple listens but I just don't like it... which surprised me because I love his buddy Patton Oswalt and the rest of the "alt-comedians"
and whoever said we should raise Mitch Hedberg from the dead: Amen brother! Mitch was one of my all-time favorites. still is.
fuck...fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. I didnt know mitch was fucking dead. fuck. i saw him in columbus a few years ago with dave attel and lewis black, didnt really know much about him beforehand, and he was fucking hillarious, definitly the highlight of the show (everyone was pretty funny though) fuck

You need to listen to his new album. 'Shut Up You Fucking Baby' is like a first draft. It's too long and not particularly sharp. However, 'It's Not Funny' is a pretty solid outing. It's shorter, funnier and more geared towards a comedy audience. He drops the Lenny Bruce/Bill Hicks schtick and moves into a more comfortable persona. He sounds a lot more confident and his delivery has improved 1000%. My guess is that working on Arrested Development has helped sharpen his prep work.
Pretty sure "It's Not Funny" predates Arrested Development but in any case its hilarious ( I haven't heard the first one). I wouldn't say he drops the "Bill Hicks schtick" entirely either (for me that's a good thing). I don't follow comedy as much as I should (I love good stand-up, hate bad stand-up, and don't have cable) so I'm no expert, but Cross is the best stuff I've heard in a while.
I saw Cross about 4 yrs ago at the Bumbershoot festival and he was fucking hilarious. He came out dressed like a old blues man told us that David Cross was going to be there tonight and proceeded to sing the most offensive songs that I have every heard. It was fantastic!
