Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I know a favorite part of many a Bonnaroo experience is running into or meeting a band member or musician at another show. So cool to see them chilling next to you enjoying the show. I think there are probably a lot from this year, so we could share them here.
Mine was ever so brief, but I saw Mike Gordon leaving The Other Tent during UM walking right past the entrance. Went up to him and told him his show with Ramble Dove was a good one. Forgot to ask him about the then unannounced Superjam, but he was pratically running away.

I saw the guitarist and bassist from Dungen at the Elvis Costello show and Andrew Bird at Deadboy and the Elephantmen. My friend saw Andrew Bird again at one of the shows on the main stage on Sunday, can't remember which one.

I have a few....
I seen Robert Randolph and a few members of the family band walking around centeroo saturday afternoon.
I seen Jim James from MMJ twice. The first time he was talking to some girl on the side of the tent that devendra banhart was playing in. The second time he was in the tent that amadou and mariam were playing in and he was dancing like a madman.
Also, when I was sitting behind the VIP bleachers in the shade enjoying some food, I saw Phil Lesh walk by. I didn't even realize it was him until it was too late.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

While we were watching the Refugee Allstars on Sunday we saw Mike Gordon walking through the crowd. He was just checking out some of the show. Also on Sunday sitting outside That Tent during Sonic Youth one of those little golf carts zipped by carrying Phil.

I couldn't sleep Thursday night, so I went to check out Centeroo. I was heading toward the arches, when I peered into the place where the artist's busses are parked and there was Connor Oburst, jogging... at 4:30 in the morning. I looked at him, with this look that read "what the fuck", he returned the look when he saw me walk to the gate, and I told him I thought he was a great musician, and I'd be checking out his set in the afternoon. I also asked him why he was jogging at 4:30 in the morning, and he said he had insomnia and a hang over, and was trying to jog both off. It was pretty cool.

I was camped at Camp Pussy Galore, and on my walk to centeroo (still in the off-shoot area), I ran into Matisyahu, twice. I talked to him for a little bit, but sadly I he turned me down when I asked if I could take a picture with him. (I guess his faith doesn't allow him to be in pictures on the Sabbath?)
I met Steven Malkmus during Deadboy's set. I was walking to the bathroom and he just appeared in front of me. So I went up and shook his hand, told him I was a fan and looking forward to his set. He said that we'd have fun. I should've gotten a picture with him, but I was suprised I even thought of words to speak when I saw him.

i think i was watching G-Love's set at the time when I overheard some guy next to me yell "PLAY FREEBIRD! God knows you guys did that to us enough times" and then he looked at the guy next to him and laughed. i wish i knew who it was!
Saw Demetri Martin at Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah! Saw chick from Be Your Own Pet in the VIP tent Saw peeps from Common twice in Centeroo Saw Conner Oberst getting carted in a golf cart around Centeroo
I was peeing on the fence of The Other Tent after Steve Earle's awesome set and some folks came up next to me (I had to "pinch" stop) trying to summon Steve. They got his attention, he came over, was signing stuff and shaking hands over the bent down fence. By this time I had put my junk back in my pants shook his hand with my piss hand and got him to sign my schedule. His set was pretty moving, so it was extra special.
Oh yeah -- Drea DeMateo (sp?) was on the side of the stage at the Shooter Jennings set. They're an item, so it wasn't a surprise, but cool either way.
According to USA Today, no Aniston. Gina Gershon was also there.
Jim James and I stormed past each other as he headed towards Devandra Banhart. I was wasted, but managed to make eye contact, point agressively at him, and say "You're the fucking man!". He smiled.
I saw Andrew Bird shopping for things in Centeroo on Friday as well.
late night saturday i was kind of meandering between the tents and my friend and I ended up parking ourselves at the back of the new orleans tent...i forget who was playing at the time...anyway, we start dancing with a big group next to us including two women in satin dresses with matching bright red and blue wigs...we're all having a grand old time and eventually I take off...
sunday morning my friend (who was not with the night before) wanted to stop by sonic stage to see rusted root...when they came on...I immediately recognized them as the folks we danced/partied with the night before
I saw Shooter Jennings and his guitarist walking through the crowd when I was laying down listening to Bonnie Raitt Sunday night. I was too beat to stand up and shake his hand for an awesome show.

I met and had a nice conversation with Demetri Martin, Tom Papa and the female comic (forget her name) from the first comedy show of the weekend. They were all really chill and we just talked about the festival, and who they were seeing throughout the weekend.
