Alright... this will probably be my last thread/post before I leave on Monday for Baltimore/NIN/Bonnaroo and I just want to do this because its fun and hopefully you all will want to get in on it too. It's basically just like phantasytour, but you can tweek it to be a little unrealistic if you so desire. Basically, just pick one set at Roo and what you think or wish it would be like. My set is going to be the UM>DB late night and here is the setlist I hope to hear based on the brain damaged eggman hendrix/floyd rumors:
(Umphrey's McGee) Foxy Lady (hendrix cover), Hunt Bird Bath > Jimmy Stewart > Miss Tinkle's Overture, Anchor Drops, Home Again (Disco Biscuits cover), Der Bluten Kat > Jimmy Stewart > Utopian Fir > Der Bluten Kat, Nothing Too Fancy, I Want A New Drug^ (Huey Lewis and the news cover), Women Wine and Song^, Fame^ (David Bowie cover), Wife Soup, Bridgeless, Dolly Dagger > (Brain Damaged Eggman - Hendrix squad) Hey Joe, May This Be Love, Spanish Castle Magic > Crosstown Traffic, Red House > Freedom, The Wind Cries Mary, Purple Haze > (Brain Damaged Eggman - Floyd squad) Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, Hey You, Have A Cigar, One Of These Days > Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Fearless, Goodbye Blue Sky, Another Brick In the Wall, Brain Damage > Eclipse > (The Disco Biscuits) Echoes(Floyd cover), Kitchen Mitts, In the Kitchen (Umphrey's McGee cover), Strawberry Girl, Basis For A Day > Spacebirdmatingcall > Basis For A Day, Crickets > M.E.M.P.H.I.S., Spy, Three Days (Jane's Addiction cover) > Run Like Hell (Floyd cover).
Encore: (Umphrey's Mcgee) - All In Time, (Disco Biscuits) - Spaga, (Brain Damaged Eggman) - Come Together (Beatles Cover)
^ with Huey Lewis ^^ imagine all the other guests for this show - it's gonna be ridiculous
What an amazing show, I am definitely not moving from this tent Friday night even though I would love to catch lyrics born, common, blackalicious, and MMJ!!!....
I'm saving the heavy hitter Hendrix songs for the Superjam b/c I dunno what it'll be like if DB/UM do hendrix and the superjam is a tribute to hendrix as well... heavy hitters - voodoo chile, machine gun, third stone from the sun, etc.
So... what other sets do you guys want to get off your chest?
Everything In It's Right Place Black Star How To Dissappear Completely The National Anthem Videotape Talk Show Host Morning Bell Kid A Sit Down, Stand Up Where I end and You begin No Surprises Go To Sleep Knives Out My Iron Lung I might Be Wrong Packt like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box Just Paranoid Android
E1 Idioteque Four Minute Warning Karma Police Lucky
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! That would be a dream setlist for Radiohead. The only thing I could think of to make that better would be to close it all out with EIIRP for encore 2.

Packt totally works live. I don't have anything to back that up with, other than me repeating that the song completely works live. It turns into a whole different animal and was probably the biggest surprise after seeing them back in 2001.
In regards to post #1 in this thread, is there any confirmation on how the Umphreys/Disco set is going to work? Alternating, two cover groups, Umphreys first or last? Or is this all speculation? That whole set looks incredible, so I hope it is something along those lines.

yes... the umphs>disco biscuits show will go exactly as I have written it down. Confirmed.
Seriously though, everything I've heard is that it is definitely going to be UM > Eggman > DB... with Eggman doing hendrix and floyd... last time the brain damaged eggman played they did the beatles and floyd though so I dunno if hendrix is a definite... thats the only part I won't say I'm pretty sure on but the two bands both just recently played together in indiana and they've also announced a brain damaged eggman show post-lollapalooza... looks like a definite eggman set at Roo to me.

Nice set list, but I still need my Kyle and my Rubella and my Kids and about four others but I'm too sleepy to know what the names of them are.

That UM/DB set would be awesone but DAMN, that would certainly go to sunrise. Der Bluten Kat, N2F and Bridgeless alone would be over one hour. I hope and pray we get an epic set of this level!
