What the hell is up with the schedule changes? Is superfly listening to fans that complain?... If so, whoever is talking to people in superfly please get them to fix up the mmw/beck conflict... at least stint the acts a bit, maybe have mmw go until 8 since there is all that dead time before Radiohead...
no offense, but you can't be serious. I mean, if they listened to everybody's complaints about what band should be where, they would be fielding 80,000 requests.

nickel creek/cat power = best guess is that one has a conflict and may not be ready at the initial time. Just a guess.

I have been to every Roo and I can not think of a single time that there has been a time slot change. I am like 99%

Nickel Creek was most likely moved up for two reasons:
(1) To minimize overlap of two of the ONLY bluegrass acts playing this year. (2) To facilitate the band getting the hell out of Dodge as they have to get to Colorado to play Telluride the same weekend.
I'm assuming this is why they altered the schedule.
Another reason for the schedule change probably has to do with the conflickt between bright eyes and cat power. Both of the bands have practically the same fan base and if you read on both bright eyes and cat power forums, many people were upset, me being one of them. Now I have to battle with oysterhead vs. cat power, but it is definitley going to be Cat.

If that is the case they should alter RRFB and Oysterhead as well as Buddy Guy and Bill Frissell -- talk about having the same fan base.
schedule change, how about Claypool, Beck, Blues Traveler, and MMW!!! that is just ridiculous to put 4 popular bands on at the same general time! I would love to see all 4! And the RRFB, Oysterhead sucks aswell!

Everyday @ 5 there's this huge mindf*ck in the form of way too many good bands at once. I agree though that Bright Eyes and Cat Power were probably adjusted because they both have the same fanbase, and of people who may not have been attracted to Bonnaroo without them. Jambands are on every possible time every day, indie bands are a little more spread out so to have a conflict is bad.

Well, now I can see Death Cab, but I have to miss Bright Eyes. Dang it! I was really really looking forward to Bright Eyes. Why do I love Nickel Creek so much?
