Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think a few more solid jambands are neccesary. I also would like to see some more bluegrass acts, but I'll get a solid fill of bluegrass at Merlefest. Other then that, I'm pretty enticed by the lineup.

Three things:
1. There are a hundred "Jam Band Fests" across the country every year. There is only one Bonnaroo. If you are unhappy with the direction of the festival (and I completely respect that opinion), consider it an oppertunity to check out another festival.
2. I'd like to see Bonnaroo reach Glasto-heights so it can announce it's line up AFTER the tickets have been sold. I go for the great atmosphere and chance to check out new music, not see this band and that band.
3. To paraphrase someone, "Sell outs? Yep. Sold out Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night!"
Bonnaroo is Bonnaroo. No matter which Bonnaroo it is!

I wasnt trying to upset anyone with what I said and I know there are other festivals. I just wish it could remain the same as it has by staying true to its scene or Jamband roots. Is Phil and Friends a headliner to or is it two nights of Radiohead and one for Petty. I agree that DMB,Jack and oar are corprit but they fit in a little better to.The next line up they put up I think will determine if a lot of bonnarooians go. I am hoping the next announcement will consist of more jambands or bands that have played it in the past. Also notice how there were not many big names announced. Im wondering if they will announce any more names before tickets go on sale. I hope. Peace
It's pretty much just all speculation as to who will headline, isn't it? Or do y'all know something I don't? Anyway, I figure Radiohead will obviously be at least one of the headliners; and I've consistently heard that Tom Petty will too. I had also been hearing Beck as a headliner, too, though, and everybody seems pretty certain that he's not; so, do y'all know something I don't know? (I can see where it would be less likely for Beck to headline, and where Radiohead would almost have to be headlining, but I just hadn't heard anything certain).
Shouldn't you be an "indie" family instead? Of all people, A-Drunk, I thought you would be the last to use such antiquated musical terminology .
As far as the headlining slots go, I have to say I am dissappointed Radiohead isn't capping the fest off on Sunday. For all of my talk that I didn't care who headlined, I was getting excited about the possibility of having a truely climactic end to the festival (which for my tastes would be a first since '02).

Ha! I meant "alternative" in the two men raising a boy way...

Yeah, you'd figure they want to end it on a "bang!"
I have only been to one Bonnaroo, but when Trey closed with the Fireworks I thought that really capped the entire weekend right there. As far the entire show goes I think I could have lived without the choir.

I definitely should have said "in my experience" '02 was the only climactic weekend closer. In '04 I had a little too much fun with moe. and David Byrne, then decided to wait the rain out for Trey camped out front and center. The rain eventually beat me down and we called it a weekend and headed back to camp about 15 minutes before the rain let up and Trey started. It was not my proudest moment as a Roo-goer and my decision not to seek shelter sooner is my only genuine Bonnaroo regret.
In my 3 'roos I don't think I ever stayed to watch the headliner close Sunday night. My first year I really didn't care about seeing the Dead and I ended up falling asleep at my campsite listening to them. The next year I did what Ka Mai did. I watched a little into the second set but they I just had pack up and leave. Even Trey wasn't worth the weather and the traffic I would have to deal with if I waited until morning. Last year I just didn't care about Panic so I left after the Word. In my experience I'm so tired and just not ready to deal with traffic that I skip out Sunday evening.

I think the lineup looks great! True less jam bands but they have never wanted the festival to be just a jam festival. I am a lover of music and very happy to see some great bands on the list. Even if the lineup is closer to ACL or coachelle. I think people will be very happy with the additions and any music fan will enjoy the sets that will happen this year. Cheer up, its bonnaroo! You will have a blast!
