If I vote yes, will that make it come true? PLEASE?
Seriously, you guys are the most optimistic bunch Ive ever seen. "Oh yeah, we got another 2 additions coming, at least 1 more big name - this is the week, i feel it". Actually, theres never been a day of any week where someone isnt saying "this is the week" or "today is the day". Kudos to you, share some of your optimism with me!
I see a schedule coming in the next couple weeks, but no additions, they have all sucked too much to have anything worthwhile waiting IMO

If there are any more additions, I would not expect to hear about them until the schedule is released and I don't expect that to happen until the last week of May.

Just that they generally make music-related announcements on Thursdays, and there is only a month left. They've got to announce the schedule, they have to put out the info guide, they have to announce quite a few more activities, and PERHAPS they have to announce more artists.

I think it is funny, we have been demanding anouncments for months and we get them. In March they come and we wait about a week before we rise again and wait in hope with crossed fingers (and toes) for more. Now however, the anxious has just boiled over and we are sitting on the edge of our chairs to begin what seems will be a very conflicting schedual. Well you know what superfly; GIVE ME A SCHEDUAL OR GIVE ME DEATH!!! (please)
oh, it was just the schedule that was announced with three weeks to go... my bad
Well, a few lesser-known artists and Les were announced, but was Les already on the lineup prior to this Gabby La La collaboration? If he wasn't already listed, then I would consider the 2005 final round fairly hefty.
I think something will be announced this week. Last year the schedule was given on 5/13 and Roo was earlier last year by a few days.
Yeah, I'm talking out of my a$$ in pure anticipation.
From a Channel 5 Nashville report a week ago: "Organizers of the Bonnaroo Music Festival are promising it’s going to be bigger and better for 2006. The organizers have said the music festival, held in Coffee County, will have 10 more musical acts this year."

ACL Festival announces its full lineup on Thursday. I hope Bonnaroo beats them to the punch (although I'll have tickets to both before the night's end...)

The organizers have said the music festival, held in Coffee County, will have 10 more musical acts this year. Cypress Hill Blackalicious, The Streets, and Lyrics Born are just a few of the groups.
Bonnaroo organizers also said the live comedy tent will also be back for this year.
You can purchase tickets to the music festival at Bonnaroo.com."
More like just a plug.. I like how they only mention the hip hop artists. They obviously mean 10 more than last year, as they say for 2006 (as opposed to 2005), and if they were going to do more adds they certainly wouldnt tell the local press how many they are going to add, theyd just drop the addition. Plus they say they will have the live comedy tent back this year, which we've known for months, so I'm pretty sure newschannel5 doesnt know anything we dont already
Knowing how the TV media works- they probably did get a quote about the "10 more" bands and then did superficial looking to fill the rest of it. It's not an article, it's a partial script to a news story. We've learned stuff before from TN news media, usually little nuggets here and there dropped in quotes.
Man I really thought we were going to get the schedule today (I'm personally way more anxious for the schedule than for new adds at this point). I've actually thought it would be Thursday May 18th for about a month now. I've got that Thursday afternoon feeling that its starting to look like we won't see anything until sometime middle of next week. With the exception of the Oysterhead add, I don't think they've released any kind of news in the Friday-Monday period. Groan.
I guess you bonnaroo veterans are spoiled by superfly, getting the schedule a month early? is that possible? Us coachella veterans are not used to that... goldenvoice gave us the schedule a whopping 2 days before coachella started this year. In years past we'd get it about a week before...
I'd say, the later the schedule comes out, the better the chance of late additions.... although I must admit I'm anxious to see the schedule just like the rest of you....
