Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If you're a huge college basketball fan like I am, every year in January and February you're checking espn.com for Joe Lunardi's bracketology. This guy not only makes a guess at the NCAA field, but also guesses what teams will play who, and where they'll play. Very detailed stuff.
Well, I really have nothing better to do with my time that to do the same for Bonnaroo schedule, so I'm going to share my projections with you all. Just so you guys know, I considered a variety of factors, including what day the band is rumored to play, where the band is listed in the 'roo homepage artist list (how high/how low), and who the band might want to play before/after (guest appearances).
Please remember this is all in fun - don't take anything too seriously. We'll know the real schedule soon enough.
Now the fun stuff. Friday I think is just absurd - conflicts everywhere. I know Death Cab after Ben Folds seems wierd, but I was going off the website order on that one. Personally I'd have Ben in a pretty big slot. Also, I ended the schedule at 4am, but we all know they can go on later than that. Don't take 4 as a firm ending time for the late night acts.

Edit 5/5: Added Common (wierd slot, but I couldn't figure out where else, maybe late night?), Seu Jorge Edit 5/6: Elvis moved to Saturday. Cut the main stage opening tim eslot (it wasn't there last year) and moved Steel Pulse to a tent. Main Stage at 3 would have been a little too much for them. RRFB takes main stage spot vacated by Elvis.
Saturday seems to have more bands than time spots - I had to create few extra that weren't there last year. Makes me think that Dr. John may not have his own set - maybe with Nevilles/Rebirth.

Cypress Hill gets bumped from main stage at 5:30. Edit 5/16: Dr. John is joining another group, but it's Rebirth as night tripper! Dumpstaphunk also goes late-night. Edit 5/17: A lot of changes as Beck leaves late night for the main stage 5:30 spot. Don't really know who fits the late night spot open, so I'll go with Dungen as the popular sentiment. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cypress Hill, though -
i think you did a fantastic job for an impossible task. but i saw so many things i wouldnt think, but im not going to critique or criticize as you went through so much work. good job and if its like that, then ill have lots of time problems. as i will anyways with the official schedule... nice
The more I look at this, the more I realize that no matter what the schedule ends up being, I'm going to have enormous conflicts. Probably significantly more so than the past couple of years. Oh well, as I keep telling myself out of frustration, there could be worse problems, right? ;D
I am really impressed with the organization and obvious time you put into this. But alot of the conflicts really depress me and I really hope some of arn't true.
Awesome, looks like theirs no major conflicts for me if this is close to what the final schedule will be. I just hope that Oysterhead and My Morning Jacket won't conflict. Oysterhead seems like a late-night act to me, but I hope that I'm wrong.
OH my god just seeing your friday schedule makes me want to cry! Cause it could totally go down that way and there are SOOO many conflicts. I am excited for and fearing this years schedule announcment more than ever!

pjammer - I need to you hope that O-Head IS late night. We MUST band together and telepathically force AC & Superfly to give them a late night slot. It MUST happen. This is a ONE-OFF SHOW - the ONLY live O-Head ANYONE will see for QUITE A WHILE. It would be such a ridiculous rip-off for it NOT to be late night!!!

That's a pretty good schedule! Now all you have to do is add The Streets and Seu Jorge to it. And I know it hasn't been officially announced by Bonnaroo, but you might want to factor in the Bobby Lee Rodgers solo set.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

nice work gt, i just wasted twenty minutes at work just working out a plan based on that sched. And even IF the schedule is wrong, the message is loud and clear..There will be at least couple big time conflicts for me. especially late night.
World Party, Ben Folds and G. Love would be cruel, especially given the era/like-audiences for these three.
Shoot, Frankenriter and Bird would be tough (I want to see Donavan, but Bird is amazing)-- but the Folds/G. Love/World would be truly absurd if they do schedule it in that way.
Yeah, so Streets and Seu Jorge were in the schedule at some point, but I think I bumped them out to put other people in their spots and forgot to re-add them. I'll try to work them in.
I actually, initially, had Ben Folds opening the second stage on Friday - if you look on the Bonnaroo site he is listed after Bright Eyes. Common sense took a hold of me and told me there was no way that could happen, but stranger things have been done...

It'll be interesting to see how this compares with the official schedule. And yeah, Oysterhead vs. RRFB is a scary thought.
RRFB is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier to catch than Oysterhead, this should be a no brainer... I mean im gunna see him at at Wakarusa and i know that not everyone will have multiple fest options to catch him perform but this is the first chance to catch Oysterhead since 2001 and there very well might not be many chances after this...
great calls, they should put u in charge of the schedule, my only question mark is cypress on the main stage in a half decent slot, seems a little much for a band that the crowd hopes to god plays nothing made in the last 10 years, only the old guys like phil can pull that off.
