Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Yeah, there will be. Consider that there was a Round 6 and 7 last year, and that several bands we thought were "main" bands ended up in Cafe and you'll see there are slots left.
I'm not expecting one. It seems like the last few adds have mostly been an attempt to round out the lineup, especially with the cafe announcement. I think I'll have more than enough acts to try to see, so I'm satisfied. Come on June 15!
Hell yea Chemical brothers! I started listening to them after hearing them on that trailer for the coachella dvd. They would be a killer late night. Specially at the roo because at coachella they probably only got like an hour to play.

Another addition would be great (especially some techno) but I doubt itll happen. Theres just so many bands already. Its gotta be well over a hundred including the Jazz Tent and Cafe Stages.
By my count there could be anywhere from zero to four additions to the main artist lineup. They definitley have enough to fill the schedule up already, but they could probably squeeze a few more in. They originally said "over 80" bands and we are at 85. Add in the Jazz tent and Cafe stage acts and I think we are at about 120 artists.
I'm just assuming we won't see an addition so I'll be pleasantly surprised if there is one last add of four acts or so.
There are a few things that make me think we might see something, though. There have never been as few DJ's (1-Sasha) in a Bonnaroo lineup and you would think there would be more than before based on the nature of this year's lineup. I'm also surprised that there isn't more talk of Galactic being on the lineup and with their close relationship to Superfly I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them in a final add (they were a late add last year).
No reason to get your hopes up at this point though, as far as I'm concerned.

That's what I'm saying! Sasha is hanging out on his own lonesome limb, the only electronic musician with his own set. He needs some company, peoples!
Jackal & Hyde? Rabbit in the Moon? The Orb? SOMEBODY COME OUT HERE AND HELP SASHA!!!
I would be OK with Rabbit in the Moon. Im not big into electronic but I had this sweet VA 2xCD called Digital Empire and I just remember a sick sick song of theres from that.
Yes I think round 6 will be 1 or 2 artists, Jam based and BIG.

This festival really only needs one guy, and that guy is Sufjan Stevens. There is just noone there this year to fill that chill dynamic that folks like Jack Johnson, Yo La Tengo, Ray Lamontagne, and Damien Rice have filled in the past. Really, Superfly, call Sufjan back and get him down to Tennessee.
But if you're looking for electronic, let me be the guy who suggests Royksopp.

I was gonna see the Orb about a month ago in NYC, but when we got there the venue was shut down. Apparently it had happened within the past two days. And our car got towed. And we were tweaking out. oh Bonnaroo would be amazing with them, but I doubt that will happen this year.

Hmm... I don't agree there. Especially with Jack's bosom buddies Matt Costa and Donavan Frankenreiter (sp?) on the bill and a few other very chill people with light acts like Andrew Bird.

Infected Mushroom would definitely throw down!!
Only problem w/ adding electronic acts is that they have to play late night, otherwise it will make me sad. Mouse on Mars played a really great set last year, but 3pm?? Give me a break.
