OH ok - my bad. I see what you're saying. That sort of happened to Les last year - played w/ Gabby and was a no-show for the rest of the fest, I think b/c his son (Cage Oliver) was graduating elementary school or something.
People, let's be realistic, Warren isn't coming, he's not going to fly in to sit in on someone's set for a thursday tent show. I'm sorry, but he can't be there every year. This is the year Robert Randolph superceeds Warren as the king of the roo.

i think its reallistic to atleast hope that he could be there. hes in tennesee and hes been at every roo. so i wouldnt say it is completly unrealistic. no more unrealistic then if you told me there would only be 3 jambands at roo in december. i would have thought you to be crazy

So what are the chances that we are going to get a "Round 6"? With the last announcement we make it past the "over 80 artists" mark, and they didn't include- "More announcements to the lineup will be made in the coming weeks. Complete festival information is available at Bonnaroo.com, which will be continually updated." -like they usually do in the additions. Does this mean that there are no more announcements, or are they trying to make us think that there aren't anymore and then announce a major addition to surprise us. Personally, I'm hoping for a major addition, but I'm satisfied if there isn't.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

i also agree that new riders of the purple sage would be an awesome addition. i just started listening to them because i am now going to grateful fest and they are there. i would love to see them at roo too

I do think there'll be a round six with no more than three or four acts, but definately one big one. I think one will be a jam band. If the North Mississippi Allstars were there, well, The Word would be complete, and they'd be great.
Gabby La La! Please!
Really? I personally think she is annoying. SHe is cute though!

If Jenny Lewis AND Ben Gibbard are gonna be there...why not just bring in DNTEL? have some freaking Postal Service action going on!!!! Seriously, they have only played like 10 shows in their whole career but they are one of the biggest bands in America...come on now.
or if that doesnt work...how about Paul Mccartney and Ringo Starr Accoustic Tour.....

I heard her with the holy mackeral and she fit in nicely in a few songs...but I saw her at bonnaroo 05 and that shit was not good.....no joke I walked to centeroo and back to my tent
Guys! Why does everybody hate on Gabby? I don't get it, the wikipedia article says there's DEBATE about whether she's annoying or talented and original. Hold on, I'm gonna make a topic about this.

Crosby ,Stills ,Nash and young are touring this summer . A great addition that would be imo
They are already confirmed to be playing where I live in July. Considering its Neil's home town and he hasn't played here in over a decade, it should be one hell of a show.
I would also welcome CSNY just don't think that is realistic........Neil had a bad show (by his own account) I thought it was pretty good myself. Just don't think he will be coming back.

postal service i think is very well within the realm of possiblity, but it prolly wouldnt be announced, more along the lines of death cab playing a bunch of songs, maybe some " from such great hieghts" but postal service im pretty sure is the main singer of Deat Cab's side project, its got a very Misc/electronica emo, kinda girly but easy to like
Post by shineonjmb on Apr 24, 2006 23:06:00 GMT -5
dude; THE POSTAL SERVICE is one the best bands around...you still need jimmy tamborello from DNTEL for it to be THE POSTAL SERVICE (it has three members... jenny, ben, and jimmy); They have a massive subculture; and yes they are a side project but they quickly became a massive sucess with a platinum album and a great strong following.
the band has only played 6 shows toghether I feel like; they were not really meant to be a hit but they were....The Postal Service at Bonnaroo would be absolutely incredible, i can promise you that...
