From phantasytour disco biscuits board...
"according to brownstein at the red onion bonnaroo late night set will be Umphreys Mcgee playing from 12-2am then brain damage doing floyd and hendrix then biscuits finishing off the night"
My computer is blocked from a bunch of sites for some reason, but could someone else check this red onion blog out?
And here's the info on the Eggman set as copied from Umphrey's website:
01.10.06 - Pool Deck, Jam Cruise 4, Grand Cayman Island Brain Damaged Eggman - Brendan, Jake, Joel, Kris, and Ryan
Set One: Baby You're a Rich Man > I Am the Walrus > I've Got A Feeling, Dear Prudence > Norwegian Wood > jam > She Came In Through the Bathroom Window, Come Togther, Tomorrow Never Knows, Hey Jude*
Set Two: Young Lust > jam > Another Brick In the Wall part one > jam > Comfortably Numb, Have A Cigar > Breathe, Wish You Were Here^, Nobody^^, In the Flesh**, Brain Damage > Eclipse Notes:
Brendan, Jake, and Kris joined with Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner for a set of The Beatles and a set of Pink Floyd * with many musicians from the Cruise joining the band on stage ^ with Tony G. on keys ^^ only Jake, Marc, and Aron ** with Ryan replacing Marc and Joel replacing Aron
So the lineup is Brendan (guitar), Jake (guitar), and Kris (drums) from Umphreys... and Aron (keys) and Brownie (bass) from the Biscuits
I'd imagine at Bonnaroo the Eggman would probably be a medley of the two bands and lots of guests as well....
I would not be surprised at all if the Roo set went something like this
Umph's 12:00-2:15 Brain Damaged Eggman 2:15-3:45 Disco Biscuits 3:45-6:00
So the lineup is Brendan (guitar), Jake (guitar), and Kris (drums)... and Aron (keys) and Brownie (bass) from the Biscuits
That is sweet. I'm not head over heels in love with either band but like the guitars from Umphrey's and the bass and keys from the Biscuits. This lineup sounds like something I might enjoy more than either band alone. Sounds like it could be a little looser than Umphrey's and a little tighter than the Biscuits which would suit me just fine.
So the Brownstein referenced in the first post is the Biscuit's bass player? Can anyone inform me what the red onion is?

I dunno man, this is probably speculation... Could be true and it sounds good to me, no matter what happens its going to be something similair to that anyway... This show is gunna be OFF!!!
Yeah Marc Brownstein is the bassist for the Bisco... My favorite member...

from what i gathered it is going to be umphreys playing first with their own set then they would play together (brain damaged eggmen) and that show would be floyd and hendrix. then bisco would finish us off with their own set. and i wouldnt be surprised to see U.M. come back out at the end of biscos show. of course it looks like all of this is just speculation. exciting speculating though. i think that could be the greatest news yet! although it means that oysterhead will either be a daytime show or confict with the umphreys set and thats not good at all

So I heard on Sirius today that at Summercamp, Umphrey's and moe. are going to get together and form 2 separate bands made from half the members of each. Maybe this is how the Umph/Bisco set will work?
Disco biscuits did a meet & greet at Tower records in philly a couple of weeks ago and I asked Marc Brownstein about their late night set at Bonnaroo and he said that they would be going on at 2 AM on Friday, but I did not ask him if it was DB or the DB/UM set on at 2

Anyone think Roo can top the intensity of Wakarusa Late night? Night one - Disco Biscuits, Pnuma Trio, Lotus, PGroove until 3am Night two- Greyboy Allstars, Buckethead, Pnuma Trio and Friends, Mooonshine Still, Lotus until 5am... Night 3 Keller, Brothers Past, benevento/Russo Duo, Mutaytor, ALO until 5:30am... Night 4, Soundtribe to close it off with as much time as they want
