Seeing how we got Round 4 today I figured I would get this started. So who is going to be in round 5 and how many more bands are going to be added total? Right now we are up to 78.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I'm off predictions as well. This nuts is bad for you. No matter how hard you try to make it seem likely, it looks like no more jam bands are getting added.
I hope they at least have some pity on us jam band fans and make the schedule so they don't conflict.

So how many more bands does everyone think are going to be added? I'm hoping at least 6 more are added. And I know somebody was saying that they were going to add 2-3 more major bands before the round 4 announcement(Not sure if Cypress Hill is one of those major bands, surprising yes, but not major to me).

Who has the list of the when/who was added from last year? I think there is probably something else to alleviate some of the doubts people have as of now. At least, I hope.

i doubt there will be many more additions.. it is already getting crowded.
Does anyone think that they (the promoters) consider Cypress hill to be a "Big" addition?
I'm thinking that there is going to be a Round 5 and 6(that's how many there were last year). Either three bands each round(each including a major band) or 2 major bands in one round and 4 bands in the other(including one major band).

How about The Replacements? I heard they were getting back together, but not sure about live shows. They would make a sweet addition to what is already a stellar lineup. For some reason I still feel Pearl Jam is going to be announced, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I'm going to have that feeling until Pearl Jam announces the second leg of their tour, then we will know for sure if they still have a chance of being added.

Whoever it is I better not have to wait another month to find out!
I don't think that it's going to be that long. Last year, addition 6(which was the last) was announced april 14. I'm guessing we have 1-2 weeks before the next announcement and then 1-2 weeks after that for the following.

As far as who they should add: Ben Harper, String Cheese, Paul Simon (long shot!), Eric Clapton (long Shot! Cream would be cool too since they have reunited). I don't see it happening but those four would be awesome.

hopefully some representation from the jam community.
i was pretty psyched to see today's additions just now (keeping my excitement to a minimum though in my college's library) and i'm not all that into the jam scene. but i'm really excited about my first 'roo, and i've been looking forward to it as being an experience of communal good will. i just want everyone to be happy, and i'll be cool. how could a broad spectrum of music ever be a bad thing?
I would highly endorse a Ben Harper addition, and of course i'm still promoting a Keller Incident. Nonetheless, I think bonnaroo is holding back the jam bands for a couple reasons. First of all, they like to torture us. But also, there are probably a number of good "jam" acts that are overlapping with other festivals. Bonnaroo needed to unveil its more unique acts to drive sales in their direction. Not to mention the fact that the LB/Blackalicious leaks probably prompted their announcement. They gave us our hip-hop, as hoped (if round 4 would have come a month ago I think there would be more enthusiasm). Patience is a virtue; round 5 will have some goodies . . .
After what happened at Roskilde a few years ago I can not see Pearl Jam playing 'Roo. They felt absolutely horrible after the Roskilde incident and probably will not play a festival again soon.
I'm feeling the Fiona announcement. Gut feeling I guess. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but it I could see it happening.

We might find out Monday if they are willing to play anymore festivals, since they are rumored for the Reading Festival and the lineup is being announce Monday.

I'd like to see some more jazz added, after all, Frisell is already there. The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, the Bad Plus, Charlie Hunter, Christian McBride, Garage e Trios (hopefully with a John Medeski cameo) would all give me a reason to print out the artist line up and have a viggerous beat of session. Pearl Jam would be amazing, I feel quite skeptical about it though, since Pearl Jam are just so god damn big, that it would be hard to imagine the premoters having an aritist of that magnitude lined up and not blair the shit out of it (the announcement). The Duo would also be good fun, I don't know if people here call them Jazz or a jam band, but, I'd love to see them get a late slot.

Does anyone else think that they might bring back the six stage setup like in 2004? I was looking at last years schedule and there were 69 different sets between Friday and Saturday(excluding the Superjam set)and right now we have 68 different sets between Friday and Saturday(78 artists total, 9 on Thursday, and Umphreys and Biscuits counting as one). In 2004 they had 80 different sets(excluding superjam). I'm hoping that they do have the six stage setup again, cause they could possibly add up to 11 more acts to the lineup.
