I'm not setting foot into that "5th Round Prediction" thread, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet. Either way, I guess it doesn't belong there because we have a verbal confirmation from Colonel Bruce (per a connection over at JamFanForum.com) that the Codetalkers are scheduled for a 1:00 main stage slot on Sunday. I know nothing about them, but am eager to explore.
I got antsy, so I went ahead and added World Party, Mute Math, and the Codetalkers (Fri, Sat, Sun respectively). I am a bit skeptical of whether or not the "main stage" in the Codetalkers info means "mainest of the main stages". It could mean "one of the main stages".
I was trying to wait until bands were officially announced to add them, but I got bored. If any of these bands ending being on the cafe stages or somehow innaccurate, I will just take them off.
I think you've been saying this all along LIGuy, but I finally realized that there will almost definitely be four tents instead of three. Basically, just the artists on the list now would pretty much fill three tents and the two stages (4 acts per stage per day, not including Thursday and late night). Also, I haven't seen anyone comment on the fact that the Comedy stage is being called "Yet Another Comedy Tent", which implies that there is "The Other Tent" (Tent #3) and "Another Tent" (Tent #4). In '05, when there was no "Another Tent" the Comedy stage was just called "The Comedy Tent".
On the '05 schedule on the official Bonnaroo site the comedy tent is called "Yet Another (comedy) Tent". Maybe they just decided to keep the name after '04. I don't know if I like the idea of more tents. More possibilities of conflicts, but on the other hand more possible artists.

ya i checked out on the website and it just says comedy but hat is because of the tiny space given for the name of the tent on the scheduled times part. on the map of centeroo it is yet another and in the spot that has the whole weeekends comedy schedule it also says it. it just isnt on the part that the roo website has put up
oops! I guess noone had mentioned the "Yet Another" thing because it wasn't true. I was going by the archived artist list and appreciate the correction.
It looks like maybe this special tent announced in Round 5 kind of answers the question though (?).
OK, so I added the new announcement stuff (Preservation Hall, Caberet Late Night, Bindlestaff Circus Tent) and I also took Bobby Bare Jr. and Mute Math (not announced today) off of the list, because I was just starting to confuse myself. I'll just keep it to announced stuff for now.
Keep your eyes peeled for dates for Brothers Past, David Ford and Be Your Own Pet. The last two seem like they could be in Thursday territory on the artist list if the Thursday list isn't complete yet. Thursday is just stacked with the announcement that the Preservation Hall will start then too.
i love the comedy and its such a great idea at Roo. it really sets them apart and adds a unique factor. plus i love comedy. side note: get psyched for Dimitrius, youll love him!
but with all that said, the name Yet Another (Comedy) Tent is dumb in my opinion. i know that "comedy" is in parenthesis, but it just reads and sounds like "Yet another comedy tent". this makes it sound like there are at least 3 comedy tents. That tent dosnt need a name! it already has one - the Comedy Tent!

"Bonnaroo has said it is in negotiations to add an additional 16 artists to this years lineup. Rumoured artists to be added include: String Cheese Incident, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, The Allman Brothers, The Arcade Fire, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, North Mississippi All-Stars, Pearl Jam, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Fiona Apple, John Mayer Trio, Thievery Corporation, Brothers Past ,Queens of the Stone Age, Ben Harper, Danger Doom, The Roots, and Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins."
per wikipedia... (since removed)
Hmmm, Brothers Past is on the list, maybe it is a legitimate list of bands with contracts to sign.
I think that list is just what it says, rumoured artists. The rumours might be taken from different sources. The list has been correct a few times, so at least one of the sources must be true, but it would be impossible to know which one, so I take it with a grain of salt.

i dont know man.. i googled it and looked on myspace and found nothing... my guess is it is a small band at the cafe or solar stage or something....although small bands usually have websites and myspace stuff
Added dios(malos). Thanks ElementGuy. I'm dissappointed because I was really getting into their album. Great snarky retro-y feel to it. I would reccomend checking them out on Thursday.

Does anyone remember when the official schedule was released last year? I know there was the "unofficial" one that leaked early last year, but i mean the tride and true one.
if you want to figure out the schedule, look at each band and think of when youd like to see them. lay down outside with your eyes closed and listen to their entire album(s) and it should say when they should be played. i guarantee someone at superfly thinks similar...
