It's the fancy band. His new CD has Gabby La La, Mike Dillon, Jay Lane, and Skerik -- I'm pretty sure that's the fancy band. And they will ROCK - or at least everyone but Gabby will rock.
Well, the Fancy Band is basically the Frog Brigade with the substitution of Gabby La La on sitar instead of Mike Huth on guitar. And I could also do without Gabby La La

It's her voice. it's very high pitch, and almost toy like. Just seems to be too much. Not a good sound. Last year at Roo, It sounded so bad, i thought it was a joke. When Les Claypool is on stage, you want to hear trippy ass cords and hard riffs, not a 11 year old girl on helium. i don't hate on her, I just would prefer someone else singing. She plays a great sitar, and I don't mind that. She jammed with Bennevento Russo last year, that was sweet. (but again her mouth was closed)
Anything that is Gabby or Les Claypool related stuff please post at this at the thread link below. I want to keep this thread open to news updates. Thank You
Only the following four acts aren't on the list (although plenty of the stuff on the list is confusing):
Common Steel Train dios(malos) deadboy and Elephantmen
I'm not going to mess around with adding the leaked acts until they are announced, since some seem to be playing the smaller "Cafe" type stages. I probably won't keep track of those here, so maybe someone could start another thread about that if there is interest.
www.thecatempire.com/content/currenttour.asp I dont know this says the 15th?? is the date on myspace just the first official day of bonnaroo. your call man just thought you might wanna see it.
deadboy is added, and I moved Cat Empire to Thursday with a question mark. The Thursday is from the official site, and they are playing Chicago on Saturday, so Thursday seems to make a lot more sense.
Inciidentally, this brings us to ten bands on Thursday (more than years past I believe) and makes me a little more nervous that dios Malos might be on Thursday and that the Balkan Beat Box info is wrong and they are on Thursday as well (all of these bands are on the bottom of the artist list). I was pretty curious about Cat Empire, and I really like what I've heard of dios Malos and BBB. Damn I wish I was getting there for Thursday.
News seems to drop on thursday afternoon. I don't think the last round of additions sold many tix, i think we get something next week, and its gonna be full of jam.
thursday afternoons . . . i'm gonna be repeatedly checking today even more than usual.

i cant see how that would be accurate. there is no way they will have music on monday. maybe a latenight for sunday that starts after midnight but i cant imagine they would just spring some monday acts on us without more notice to plan for it
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
This has James Brown on thursday. Did I miss something?? When was he announced? This would be great, but I'm kinda thinking this site is like Wikipedia in the sense that anyone can edit it.

its the date he played in 03 and people are mistaking it fort his year. well that seems to be the general consensus anyways.. but i do see he is doing some stuff this summer but im 99 percent sure it is a mistake
I am pretty sure they have had other big name artist additions in the late rounds in past years. If I remember correctly The Black Crowes and Allman Brothers were a round 4 or round 5 addition in the past.
