I made my rootu last night. I made a bad choice and picked black and pink glitter tulle so now there is glitter everywhere! my floor my furniture and i even just found some in my cleavage while at work even though i have showered since. I must have been having a fat moment when I measured the elastic though because its too big. Ill post a pic tomorrow after I take it in. Thank you for all the tips and inspiration! cant wait to see everyones.
I found when I was making mine that the elastic kind of stretched with all my tulle strips on so I had to cut off a few extra inches in the end (I kept trying it on while I was making it!). I figure next time I will take off 4-5 inches from the waist measurement to ensure proper fit.
Do any of you ladies shop at Gabriel Brothers? They have stores in most of the Eastern states (http://gabrielbrothers.com/store_locator.php if you want to check). I LOVE shopping there--they sell name-brand stuff at super cheap prices. Usually overstock, slightly imperfect, etc. You have to search when you go, but it's SO CHEAP. Today I got two Urban Outfitters rompers, two New York and Company dresses, an Express mini-skirt, a pair of strappy sandals and three random-brand tank tops for $54!!!

My friend Sherry got this dress in orange and I loved it, so I got it in white. I unpicked the bottom layer so it now has the lace along the bottom and cut the lining so it is a little shorter for Roo and I LOVE it.
If you order one, look online for Kohls free shipping coupons. I got a 20% off and free shipping.
Oh and the sizes on this run a little large, for those who know me, I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. Usually I need a large to fit the boobies in, but the large was huge on me

The closest one looks 5ish hours away I do most of my shopping at similar stores (TJ Maxx and Marshalls) but I have never seen NY&Co or Urban Outfitters there.

I am good with that! My friend sherry will probably be wearing the orange one, but mine is shorter now You could even take more tiers off depending on how short you want it.
One question while I'm here, I read earlier in the forum that carrying a backpack can be a little irritating. Has anyone used a messenger styled bag? If so did it chaff after awhile?
The best bag I've found for Roo is the Kavu rope bags. It distributes the weight across your body and it can just sling around to the front so you don't have to keep taking it off every time you need something.

So pretty but I gained some weight recently & it went to certain places. One being my boob region Haha, I'm afraid if I wore that top it would be tata's everywhere. But kmart has some pretty suits for all sizes.
Really? I never even thought to check Kmart! My bathing suit tops are mainly from VS. I gained weight the past year though and Im not too stoked on wearing a bikini this summer but I'll deal with it :/

I went to Old Navy today to "just get 1 or 2 things." Yeah, I got like 8 or 10 things...they have so much cute stuff right now! I'm now in full-on Bonnaroo shopping mode. It usually starts waaaay before now but I've done good this year! lol It's probably because I haven't been on here as much as usual!
Combine Amazon One-Click with a Prime membership. I have never have done so much online shopping in my life. Way too easy.

I have a halter full coverage push-up bikini top from VS but it still hurts my neck after a few hours I don't know that it's possible not to hurt your neck if you are over a D cup.
I got a really nice coverage one at Target (Converse brand) this year but have not worn it for a long period of time yet.
Check out www.everythingbutwater.com and the support bust section. Those Lucky swimsuit tops that cross in the back are my favorite for the boobs. It distributes the weight well. Anything directly around the neck is a no go. They are pricey but you can buy seperates there and not the whole suit.
