Ok I might just be impatient but it seems to me bonnaroo is getting behind. >:(After the first year they had the DVD out in october. After the second year it came out in november. After much emailing to bonnaroo they said that last years DVD would come in april. Well April came and went so all I'm saying is WTF? I need that DVD. It is the only thing that can tide me over for the next month and a half. So what I want to to no is Who's coming with me to get that DVD?
I am helping with the promotion of the, already released CD, and DVD release (May17th is correct). The number one complaint is it took to long to be released. The reason it took so long to come out this year is, last years DVD was shot in Hi-Def and professionally produced. They wanted to take the extra time and put out a great DVD rather than rush out an ok DVD. Guess we will see if it was worth it.

Unless.... as cfish said to me earlier today, it's considered to be on "backorder" because musictoday hasn't received it yet, due to the release date being 5/17. Oh well, who knows!
that sucks man! Wierd, I have not heard anything from the street team about a delay.......
I'm sure there's no delay in the release date, but an over abundance of pre-orders through MusicToday is pretty realistic. Meh, I'll probably just wander over to Best Buy on the 17th and pick it up there. I'm never excited about giving them my business, but like most major release situations, I really don't give a fu*k.
Im picking up the 2003 video tonight....(Ive never seen it or have been to Bannaroo) so...ANything I should keep in mind while im checkin things out....Is it work the 30 bucks?

Although i have not seen either of them i have heard much better things about the 2002 disc over the 2003, just what i hear though. I am planning on picking up the 2002 disc this week though.
If you've never been to Bonnaroo then the 2002 DVD is a better movie I would say. I only say this because it's more of a documentary than the 2003 DVD is. The 2002 DVD has tons of performances and between them are clips of the DVD crew roaming the campgrounds and talking to people. You also get to see how they set everything up and the campgrounds and everything. The 2003 DVD is cool but it's just performances which aren't really "live". They are shot more like a music video. Still cool though. First DVD gives a better overview if you've never been.
So yes your all right....I picked up the 03 DVD...although it has great performances...I was looking for more behind the music stuff..people talk...campground stuff...Still a good DVD...But I should have went with the 02...Thanks for the input!
