We are staying at Camp on the Lake @ Nickajack Lake Wednesday night. They are not good at getting back to you, if you want to make a res make sure to call them direct. She broke her foot so you have to call her cell 1-423-942-6374, her name is Linda....I hope that helps, all the other places around there don't take reservations. I like to know I have a place to camp before I get there. It was less then $20 for an RV site so it shouldn't be too expensive.
Why do you not just go straight to the festival grounds. We are going in wednesday evening. You can get in and then relax and you would not have to pay for a night to camp and also pack and repack.......
i'll be at old stone fort, to the west of manchester, i'll be there on monday-wednesday, they don't take reservations, but said i should be okay since i'm coming b4 wednesday.. it's close, and from what i've seen a cool place.. google it.. <<<< not good at posting links (
Old Stone Fort is brilliant. And they are really, really cool there too. Last year they drove around and let everyone know when the gates were opening early.
my friend and i feel like taking out sweet ass time to get down there we're leaving from the boston area tuesday morning, we're stopping in virginia that night, then we're driving through wednesday, stopping somewhere between chattanooga and the site. Also Wednesday night we want to meet up with another friend who has to pick someone up from the Nashville area Thursday morning... so... I dont know how that is going to work

That is why we are staying overnight about 40 miles away from Roo...We have friends leaving at a different time from Florida so we plan on setting up camp by 4 or 5 on Wednesday and everyone else can get there when they want and by 9am on Thursday we can all leave together. I have a Handicapped Access pass so we all have to arrive together so they get in w/ my companion pass. Rv and companion MUST arrive together so we figured that was the easiest way to find each other.
We don't want to have to go through the mountains when it is getting dark either
