I posted this before but I think this could be included in logistics.
So from what I hear this seems to be the better entrance. The directions mapquest gives me this
13.Merge onto I-24 E via EXIT 86 on the LEFT toward CHATTANOOGA / KNOXVILLE / I-40 E. 63.6 miles 14: Take the TN-53 exit- EXIT 110- toward MANCHESTER / WOODBURY. 0.2 miles 15: Keep RIGHT at the fork to go on TN-53 / WOODBURY HWY. 0.8 miles 16: Turn LEFT onto MURFREESBORO HWY / US-41 S / TN-2 E.
That is directly into Manchester though...anyone know the exact address of Bonnaroo?
Should I just stay on I-24 E to get right to the Bonnaroo entrance that people are talking about?

another question about I 24, if coming from the north east, do you really have to go south of manchester and come up on it? seems like a waste of time....and time is money.....and money is gas.....
i would stay on 24 and use that entrance. ive used both entrances on thursday morning around 6 -8 am and the 24 entrance was far superior. the in line party was better off of bushy branch but our spot was way out there. off of 24 we could see the top of the main stage from camp.
im coming from michigan and 24 does go out of the way to the south. ya go into georgia for a bit. i have looked into avoiding it but we just skipped the messing around and stayed on 24. i really dont think it goes that far out of the way. maybe a half an hour. its also a pretty stretch of road. there are cliffs and lakes. its kinda crazy how it is there and 2o miles up the road at roo its mostly flat. so i would recommend jusst going out of the way. im sure there is a better way but we just never wanted to risk getting lost so we go the easy way

One you start approaching 'roo on I-24, you will not need directions. The line of traffic starts LOOOOOOOONG before the entrance - you'll wanna go ahead and pull of onto the shoulder & get in line ASAP to let non-'rooers drive by.
