Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've read many stories about cops finding weed on people and that ruining the weekend. I understand the "go for the music, bro" attitude, but, let's say, I wanted to go for the music with the mary jane, and you know what I'm saying! *elbow nudge+head nodd*
We try to keep the explicit, specific drug talk off the board for a variety of reasons. There was a bust at a Jamcruise related to internet message boards, there's no telling who would be reading this, and Adam, who created and runs the board, has requested that we keep this to a minimum.
Private messages or e-mails are a different story (check your inbox).
This may or may not be true but, I really think there wont be as many drugs this year as oppose to other years since the cutdown on jambands. Also, the increase of other types of bands that I would think would not have that lot scene that you see when you go to a jamband concert where people are selling drugs and hitting nitrous tanks...just my thoughts.

Yeah dont be stupid and you'll be fine, but dont talk about it on here unless you WANT more security at the roo... Im very very interested to see how the scene will change this year cause of the difference in the lineup... I think it will be noticable but im not sure how much...
ya it kinda seems like the scene has relocated to 10klf... im pretty sure we will still have lots of fun but i anticipate this year being a little different.... its like in the beginning there was roo for jammin and underground/non mainstream and coachella was the mainstream, now it is like coachella has gone completely to mtv hell and bonnaroo is moving to mainstream and 10klf and waka are keepin it real.... i just wish a festival would be happy with what it is instesad of constantly trying to make more loot...maybe roo is just diversifying but it seems like a more mainstream fest for sure...oh well im sure all will have a good time
deloused - ya ive thought the same thing, but i hope not, and dont really think it would be too drastic luciid - yes, twill be interesting, hope not too much cuz i aint going to no waka, but whatever, they can all miss ranble dove and radiohead, and all the other shi t the straight jamfests wont have, wont bother me any keith - same as above, hope not TOO much, shi t shouldnt change drasticly, but rather more it should evolve, and i hope (and think) thats what roo is doing, but ya i plan on having a good time either way other than that - if ur scurred then get ur shi t there, fuck did i say too much? someone needs to stop this thread
and if some of that doesnt make any sense, my bad im kinda crunky
and clark, fuck him, keep your shi t (even if you are a pagan, ya thats right i read all bout ya'll in that da vinci code shi t) ;)

I just hope Shakedown Street will still be there...i wouldn't think it would be that drastic of a change though. I really couldnt care less about the drug thing though, i'm not planning on much of that anyhow. All my friends call me a hippy, but i get agrivated at most of the jam kids. I love music of all kinds and would like to think i'm a very open minded guy. But a lot of these kids at these fests don't understand that. They just deck themselves in typical hippie regalia and act very close-minded! Basically, just a bunch of Punks is Hippies clothing. Mr. Zappa would have a lot to say about these flower punks if he were still around. THINK FOR YOURSELF!!
If Zappa was still alive, I believe politics in the world would be slightly more interesting. As for the controlled substances, would somebody mind PMing me as well please?
shakedown street will definetly still be there... as long as 80000 people are showing up they will show up to cater to us... besides these people operate on profits and hipster yuppie kids have more money then hippies that travel with festivals.... as for the drugs... the whole world does drugs... does anybody really think that higschoolers stopped partying because of mtv and a change in music?? ive seen drugs at every concert i have been too...and i imagine it will be at everyone that i go to in the future...at least some things are right with the world(although the prices are crazy)
I don't think they're all that friendly to each others. Well, at least some of them aren't.
I've always thought that the only thing Zappa needed was a great bass player. Don't get me wrong, they were all good, but none really matched people such as Terry Bozzio and George Duke.
