Hey, I'm new at this. I wanna go to bonnaroo, but I'm an international minor. You think I'd be fine, or would there be any special trouble for me that you can think of?
Do you mean getting tickets and getting in to camp or busted for beer? Getting tix and in isn't a problem. Don't spaz out with the beer and you should be fine. The police have usually been ok until someone get's lippy. At least from what I've seen.
gnome, I swa that first hand. There were two groups of young guys on either side of us 2 years ago. Both groups partied their butt's off, but, one decided to get rowdy.....throwing stuff, yelling at cute girls walking by........fireworks..the whole nine yards so to speak. Eventually the law came, probably from all the complaints. If you lay low, and just party no one will bother you.

Yeah the police and security arent really there to bust anyone for much other than violent and wreckless behavior... Im sure their main purposes is to police oubursts that could lead to more negative energy or fights and possibly snowball into something crazy... I dont think anything crazy would ever happen at the roo cause most people look down on stuff like that and want to keep things positive even when people are pushing the limit...
One thing they really frown upon is nitrous oxide (laughing gas) they have an awful lot of injuries because of that. Like people inhaling and then falling off the bleachers and shit.

My friend actually fell on our neighbors one person tent during one of these incidents, luckily no one was in it. But for the op il just back everyone up. You arent gonna get anymore trouble than anyone else just because your a minor. As long as you arent really stupid about stuff you dont have to worry. I do have a question though, do they id people at the brewers and such, cus i didnt even see the brewers tent, and i might like to check it out this year.

I cannot say for sure about the Brooer's tent, but I know for a fact that at the beer stands where they sold Miller Lite and Bud Lite they did not card at all. This is how my friends and I ended up wasting a lot of money last year. I would recommend bringing your own beer instead, unless you want to try some exotic beers.
....If you are not causing harm to anyone else, you can do just about anything you want at Bonnaroo and get away with it. (With the exception of serious drug dealing, or like they said, selling hippie-crack)...
As stated above don't cause a problem, don't be stupid, take care of yourself and dont harm others and you will have NO problems at all
No they do not ID in Centeroo. Atleast I have never seen it. I've bought several beers inside centeroo at both the Brooers tent and regular vendors for the last 3 years and I've never once been carded. (And this will be my first Bonnaroo as a legal drinker, I turned 21 in September) As long as you don't look really really young you'll have no problem.
They have never searched our cooler and I've always had beer cases in plain view in the back of our truck and never have they asked for ID (although we've all been of age anyway), just whether or not we have bottles.
