I like to fill up on beer as near to Manchester as possible. Cheaper than up north and easier to keep cold. We've had the same problem the last two years. We end up hitting Bonnaroo traffic in the middle of the night (Thursday night/Friday morning) and not everyplace along the way is open. We also have managed to make our first attempted beer stop in a dry county in Kentucky (?) the last two years. I'll be taking 65 South to Nashville then 24 East. Can anyone reccomend a good spot to stop that's not too close to Manchester (once I'm close I won't want to stop) and that will be open all night? Does anyone know where that dry county is so I can avoid it?
The best place to stop would be Murfreesboro. Take exit 78B off of I-24. You will have numerous 24 hour quick marts as well as a 24 hour Super Wal-Mart if you need anything at the last minute.
