So she will have to keep doing the same thing she's been doing all tour. Another excellent contribution.
Vancouver/Seattle/Portland LDR shows 2 weeks ago all had zero special guests. IIRC, no opening acts either.
The LA and NYC area shows had guests. She brought out Joan Baez in Berkeley. Guests are obviously something she's prioritizing on this tour, I don't know how you can look at what's she's done so far and not come to the conclusion that she will have help if she headlines (or even subs) Coachella. Unless you're a fucking idiot.

I don't it's fair to call it "help" when everyone she's brought out other than Joan Baez isn't nearly as big a name as her
LAUNDRY DAY beabadoobee Crumb Sam Fender Orville Peck FONTAINES D.C. black midi 100 gecs Weyes Blood The Comet is Coming Kikagaku Moyo L'Impératrice girl in red Tones and I
Today was a real good day of new music for me, thanks a ton man! I'd recommend pretty much everything here to others as well. Had listened to Weyes Blood, Tones and I and L'Imperatrice already, all great.
Tones and I is already all over Apple Music anyway, but I feel like she's the one that will get especially big
If you're down with Bat for Lashes I think Weyes Blood is kind of a must
SUPER into this Orville Peck album Pony. Really wonderful, reminds me of if Bryan Ferry was a creepy cowboy
FONATINES D.C. and black midi really got me hyped to spend more time in the Sonora this year, especially if Idles end up in there too
Kikagaku Moyo's 1 pm Gobi set will be as awesome. Ditto for The Comet Is Coming
and who knew a ridiculous Matt & Kim/Die Antwoord/Death Grips mash-up could sound so 'good'? (100 gecs)
Oh and also this new Wale album is his best. I very much hope he makes it out there
Thom Yorke just announced a show on 3/30 in New York.
Edit: additional dates making him look a lot more likely:
03-28 Fairfax, VA - EagleBank Arena 03-30 New York City, NY - Radio City Music Hall 04-04 Chicago, IL - United Center 04-05 St Paul, MN - Xcel Energy Center 04-08 Denver, CO - Mission Ballroom

With nothing but love for Thom, I was able to buy a ticket for their Chicago Theater show less than a year ago for like 20 bucks because they couldnt get close to selling the place out... United Center just seems way to big? Has he gotten substantially more popular in the last 10 months?

Just went to the show in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena and they only sold the lower bowl and floor. I'd say the lower bowl was about 60% sold and the floor looked pretty full. Tickets were on Stubhub for about $35 the day of the show.

Getting tix for Thom's last Denver show for anything less than 3x face was impossible. These venues are a little bigger than what he was playing previously (pre-Anima) so I'd imagine it'll be a little easier. Depends how bad the scalping infrastructure is in your city too.

My guess is we’ll get a partial lineup release from SITW with blurred names that overlap. No need to have all the names announced nearly 6 months beforehand.
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide
Babymetal at the Forum was incredible on Friday...have to assume GV has looked into booking them at some point
. They just announced a small run of asia dates that end a week before weekend 1, so theyre not out of the running. Where do you put em? If theyre going to use elements of their show its gotta be at night, so outdoor or even sahara. I dont think mojave would be good cause they got a lot of pyro.
