This little camping fest just came out of nowhere but landed The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Local Natives, Dr. Dog, and Whitney, with 11 more acts to announce. $85 is dirt cheap too.

I’m totally thinking about going. The general info page makes it sound very kid friendly, and it being only 1.5 hours from home makes it seem low stakes to try with a kiddo. Plus a pregnant and nursing mom lounge?! Yes, please.
Think I'm gonna make this my 2nd fest besides roo this year. Camping, driveable, cheap, and not filled with shitty EDM.
I assume the other 11 acts will be smaller than those already announced?
I would expect that and be pleasantly surprised if more well known acts are added. In the press release they mentioned that this would be an alt-rock and country fest, so I'm also guessing many of the remain acts will be more country leaning
I wish the Pittsburgh event would've panned out. Cle &/or Pit need a decent festival. LaureLive just isn't my thing & Thrival's lineup was horrible last year.
I didn't see any mention of country in the articles I've seen. I've only seen it billed as an alt-rock festival.
We took the plunge today. We couldn’t resist. It’s so cheap, so close. Plus it seems family-friendly based on the website, the demographic I expect to be interested in the lineup, and the short duration—just two days with onsite camping. (We’re considering bringing our toddler.) The bookings play on some nostalgia for my 20s and fit the aging millennial Ohio hipster well. I promise a full report in August.
Sorry for the double post, but it looks like The Psychedelic Furs will be one of the 11 bands still TBA.
(The festival is only following six bands on social media, the five already announced plus the Furs. They tweeted a picture of a sheep saying another band was announced if you know where to look.)

Heads up! They announced that the early bird price would end at 5pm today, but it's almost 7pm & I still got the early bird price. You can also save $1.50 by liking & sharing your purchase on Facebook & Twitter.
Also, the rest of the lineup will be announced on April 5th. The daily schedule will be released a week later.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I love how they say on FB that the full lineup is coming at noon, but they've already liked all the acts playing on their page and all the acts are posted on their site. I wish other festivals were as sloppy with keeping lineups under wraps as this one.
Also, it looks like daily lineups will be announced next week since the single day tickets go on sale 4/12. However, Flaming Lips already have 8/11 down on their site, which means MGMT will be on 8/10.
I appreciate the thought they seem to have put into curating the lineup. (I know MGMT and the Flaming Lips aren’t exactly inventive bookings for Inforoo, but I haven’t seen either in many years, so maybe I’m biased.)
It’s very much an “if you like this band, you might also like this band” type of lineup. For a small first year festival that could have followed the same tired old model, I give them credit. Reminds me of the days when Bonnaroo would really align their top card with their mid card.

I'm satisfied with the lineup. There really isn't a band I don't want to see (maybe Bob Schneider). E&tB & The Furs are pretty unique gets for a festival.
I also live right down the road, really, one single turn off my street and then straight for 10-15 min. I can’t believe there is a fest SO DAMN CLOSE. Not only that, it’s one I want to go to! Not looking forward to the humidity, but we can all come back to my house and jump in the pool!
Anyone else doing this fest? They just released the map and it looks like the camping village will be held in the permanent structures in the Renaissance Fest area. Also, added a couple late night sets over there too.
