Welp, I just threw down for tickets to Friday's Radiohead show, because last night's blew my mindhole. My wife and I will be living off beans and toast by the end of this summer thanks to our concert budget. No regrets.

UPCOMING SHOWS 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount 9/13 - Lucius/The War on Drugs/The National @ Forest Hills
Glass Animals had to drop off that Beck show at MSG, and they've been replaced by Jenny Lewis!
I may have to buy a ticket now. I love Jenny.
I'm bummed, Glass Animals were a huge motivating factor for me to go. I think they might even be a bigger draw at this point (sold out Radio City last fall) unless I'm underestimating how big Jenny Lewis is?

I'd guess they're equal draws. Last time Jenny Lewis played NYC was in 2016 and it was two sold out nights at Beacon Theater.

Well, I'm not quite sure how to recover from three nights of Radiohead in one week. It may take some time to locate all the pieces of my mind and put them back in their proper place. I got in line yesterday at, like, 4, and ended about 8 people back from the rail, dead center. I've been farther away from the stage at some Bowery Ballroom shows.

I just got an email with free passes for Ozyfest this weekend. Must be selling terribly.
Definitely wont be going Saturday, but if the weather holds up Sunday I'll go and catch Passion Pit.
Hillary Clinton must be the answer for poor sales.
Anyone doing Foo Fighters tonight?
Foos were solid last night, just wish they would cut down on the unnecessary noodling and add a few deep cuts. The bigger news to me is after last night and seeing Radiohead on Sat, MSG finally has gotten with the times and does a full GA floor as opposed to splitting it in half.
Schedules up on the website. Looks like its 3 stages, but really the only interesting stuff is happening at the Summerstage. Also looks like an early night for Sunday...Passion Pit is scheduled for 6pm.

Just got an email from Live Nation saying I won a pair of tickets for Beck/Jenny Lewis tomorrow. I don't even remember entering any giveaway for this lol. Regardless, I'm pumped to see Jenny tomorrow!

Weather-wise. Thunderstorm predictions. That's a real bummer, but I'm just glad the initial thunderstorm predictions for tomorrow's Arctic Monkeys show have passed. I can handle a little rain.
Wonder what time Arctic Monkeys go on tomorrow. Opener is at 6:30 and I assume they play for 40 min which means AM could be on as early as 7:45 which.....seems really unrealistic even with the 10pm curfew.
Ugh, I feel like the Julien Baker/Courtney Barnett show on Wednesday is in real trouble. Damnit.
Weather-wise or ticket sales-wise?

Yeah, weather-wise. I know forecasts can be sketchy, but it’s a 100% chance at this point. I’m trying to stay zen about it; I’ve just been looking forward this one a lot.

The Arctic Monkeys show last night was amazing. But I was absolutely shocked at how young the crowd was (at least around me on the floor). I swear when they played Is This It practically everyone around me looked clueless.
