like it used to be an international airport and just isn't anymore.
Nashville was an International airport for awhile. Then we lost our London flights. They came out and painted over the International part of the sign with what looked like white-out.
(we got our London flights back, guess they will clean off the white-out)
When Jason landed at the airport, their airport was Macho Man Randy Savage International Airport. I love this show.
Jason explaining the sins of Donkey Doug is the hardest I've laughed this season: "Like when he sold counterfeit truck nuts or the time he invented a crossover between dodge ball and horseshoes and everyone died."
we are rewatching seasons 1 and 2, so much fun, i think i enjoy it even more on rewatch. there are so many jokes that i just missed or don't remember. one in particular was jason referring to jacksonville as "one of the top ten swamp cities in northeast florida". i had to pause it and just laugh.
also the way he described his high school. i think it was something like two tug boats tied together in a field and instead of studying they just went door to door selling dirty magazines.
so happy to have this show back, and brooklyn 99 is the perfect lead in. nicole byer was really great, the "i'm trying to make a fist!" was so silly. i want chidi's the good place mail person patch.

I am very excited to see the Interdimensional Hole of Pancakes. I love how throwaway gags like that from the first two seasons (Doug Forcett and the spirit pets are some others) are actually being shown this season, which is just a wonderful dedication to continuity.
I fell way behind on Brooklyn 99, so now seeing the ends of episodes before The Good Place starts is less than ideal for me, which I realize is entirely my fault.

I have rewatched the first two seasons at least 3 times and they just get better.

I just started watching Brooklyn 99, on the 3rd season now.
Nicole was HILARIOUS in the new episode. I love this show so much.

"...and then Turtle makes a bet with Ronda Rousey, where if she loses she has to bo-oh man. Come on! I was torturing Shakespeare by reading him the plot to the Entourage movie."
I love this show.
Also, Shawn's reasoning for humans being bad = "Limp Bizkit, Slavery. I rest my case".
Was it the finale??? I didn't even know cause I stream it off the app. noooo.
yep, way too soon! we've only had a few weeks of episodes since the winter break. i was loving the combo of this with brooklyn nine nine and didn't realize it was going to end so soon.

because of the break it felt like we just started a "new season". my one complaint about the good place is it goes by way too fast.

Yea, the breaking up the season in that weird way definitely caused some annoying shifts in momentum.
I'm also actually really relieved about what the "waterworks" and "sobbing" were about. Because I peeked in here and stumbled upon other comments/headlines throughout the day (I couldn't watch it until tonight) and was trying to prepare myself for something worse. My gut reaction to people being upset was that they were going to do something to remove Ted Danson from the show. I figured there would be something involved with him sacrificing himself to be sent to retirement and leave the Soul Squad/Team Cockroach all alone with Janet.
While this was definitely a tear jerker and I loved that montage movie of the Chidi/Eleanor relationship I'm so happy it's just a mind wipe. Like they said on the show....they'll find their way to each other again. I believe in that.
I'm glad the show's ending. Honestly, by the time I started watching season 2 I was wondering what direction they could take the show in; I'm certainly happy with the way it's gone but I don't think anyone could sustain the show's momentum for much longer. I'd rather it have a tight resolution now.
