OK, so this isn't exactly my music, but it's a festival I'm doing. Let me know if you all have any suggestions on how things look and remember I don't have Bonnaroo's budget, or much of a budget at all for that matter. If there are any easy fixes that you see or anything you see that you like, share away. I'd also encourage you to listen to each of these bands if you haven't heard of them. In my opinion, they are all excellent. I'm waiting on my web guy to get the artist profiles pages so exploring will be easier.

Maybe create a volunteer section where in exchange for working half the day they get a ticket? Get some sponsors to fund things like water (and even possibly stages) so you can put more money into the lineup.

Thanks for that. I guess I should clarify some things. We've got these things covered, but it's behind the scenes. We've got two separate vol shifts and those shifts are covered. Sponsors are being finalized now. We're taking the Bonnaroo approach on not having sponsorships shoved down your throat and and all over everything. Instead we're having them set up interesting activations on site that add to the event and they're excited about the opportunity. I still welcome any suggestions about the overall look and feel of the event, just know we're good to go on the backend. Thanks, again.
I don't think I've posted my stuff on here before, but I finished this track today and I'm pretty happy with it. First time recording anything in a while. Constructive criticism greatly appreciated!

this was very cleanly produced and that beat is very nice. It's a very pleasant listen with some lol'worthy lyrics. Your change from singing to rapping is smooth all around.
In terms of cc (I know this kind of contradicts the compliments), I think a bit of variety in the vocal production would be good (some light distortion, mid-passes, delay). It would give the track a bit more edge imo

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I totally agree, the production side of things is the steepest learning curve for me. I feel like I just generally need more stuff going on to keep things interesting, especially without a chorus. Outside of ad libs and harmonies I haven't really experimented much. Something to try for the next track.

What program are you using?
Ableton mostly, and audition for more detailed stuff when necessary. And Melodyne to fix the notes I don't hit lol

Mix #2! Mixed parts of this one live in Mixxx before finalizing it in Reaper. There are definitely some...growing pains here. It's a weird mix of artists and I'm still trying to figure what I *like* putting in my mixes. I also ned to get more inventive with transitions and shit.
