Haha the miserable troll is here to be a miserable troll. Got any gross pics to share?
You know what was clever? When you told me to jack off to some dudes forehead because I made a comment about Live Nation's festival pass.
I didnt tell you to. I just assumed thats what you do. I still have not heard you deny it either. I denied being an employee or whatever you accused me of.

Don't interrupt him now, he's in Clever Parrot mode. He'll repeat anything I say, except replacing random words with the phrase "miserable troll"
It's like he doesn't understand that other people can read the thread and decide for themselves who looks like an insane person
Click on your recent posts and let me know when you find one that wasnt an insult towards anyone or a jackass comment. Thats why you are a miserable loser.

Can you read? Still inaccurate. I again said you are in not any way affiliated with these groups. Zero. Zilch.
Also, I have no need to answer this extremely dumb fucking question. You make weird assumptions, dude.

Don't you have to technically travel from Jersey or wherever it is you actually live? I bet we travel similarly to most shows. I be my route is even faster. My bed is probably more comfortable too.

I live in Indianapolis: aka not the biggest concert draw (many touring acts typically prioritize Chicago, Detriot, any of the big Ohio cities, even Louisville).
If I listened exclusively to country music and FM classic rock I'd be set, but as it is I end up driving a lot to see other genres of music. And there's nothing wrong with that! It's a little inconvenient, but that's life.
If I lived in a big market like NYC, I guess I'd be grateful for cool concert opportunities, but it's not like other people can't still see some cool stuff either! It's not as if you discovered some brilliant trick that no one was clever enough to devise just by living in a big concert market. To be fair, I'm not really caught up on what I assume is a long back history of animosity between you all, but mocking someone for living in a smaller concert market is kinda a jerk store move, just being honest.
Ok! Back to lurking and passive-aggressively liking comments

You guys, the fact of the matter is you can either spend $800 on this thing, or you can go out and buy a hooker and a gun, and still have enough money left to buy a Bonnaroo ticket off StubHub.

Deer Creek is still solid. Plus we live within a half days drive of all of those cities. I enjoy traveling those short distances. Used to take Amtrak up to Chicago a lot for weekends/fests/shows.
4 hrs for me to hear some decent house. I'm afraid if I lived closer, it'd be my new habit.
I hear ya on that county/rock comment. Thank goodness for the interwebs and digital storage.

Klipsch does get a few solid shows now and again, but they've been all in on mainstream country the past few summers. I worked security and breaking up the beer-fueled fights of angered men in Confederate flag t-shirts for a full summer soured me on Deer Creek a bit.
It's not a bad drive at all! Just further reinforces why the original point was so asinine.
Only $800 to see multiple festivals starring 90% of the same bands?!?! Sign me up! I totally need to see the same XX set before (insert pop headliner) 4 times
Life is Beautiful '13, '14, '15, '16, '17, '18 | Rock in Rio USA '15 | ACL '16 Ohana Fest '16 | Arroyo Seco '17 | CalJam '17 | Lost Lake '17 Lollapalooza '18 | Kaaboo Texas '19
Recent/Upcoming/Planning: 3/22 - Catfish & The Bottlemen 4/16 - CHVRCHES 5/17 - Florence + the Machine 7/23 - The Head and the Heart 8/20 - Kacey Musgraves 9/20-22 - Life is Beautiful Festival 10/4 - Ingrid Michaelson
Pretty funny seeing all the comments about all the festival lineups being the same.
I see 4 festivals (3 of which are less than a 4hr drive from me) that are all quite different from each other:
* Hard Summer * Route 91 Festival * Ohana Festival * ACL Festival
Plus, I could also add in festivals like The Roots Picnic and Voodoo on top of it, which again, would also be a bit different.
So there's definitely very good value for me. My only problem would be having enough vacation time for all of them.
Its only the same if you are using it to go to festivals with similar lineups. Id use it to hit Gov Ball, Meadows, Roots, Bisco, and Peach. All of which are close by and pretty much nothing a like.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
